Maybe the thread about this being the ISO forum of choice for DC explains why I never got a local girl to respond to my posting on the real ISO board for an hour long DATY only session.
Or maybe nobody's into that, even though I see it offered in other metro areas on occassion.
just like another board that is near death. If you aren't one of the "crowd" you are either a cop or a kid fucking around on the computer. Apparently there is no such thing as a "newbie" to this "crowd".
It's a shame too, because this is the exact reason that other board is on life support at the moment. They ran everyone off with their rules and cliques. Or if they didn't like somone who spoke their mind (moi) they banned you!
Everything isn't about you and how you've been soooooo mistreated by the mean boys & girls. The response was an honest observation. ladies are reluctant to respond to ISO's from individuals with no board history. Hobbyist in my experience tend to be more than happy to assist newbies. Yes , there is some caution when it comes to a complete unknown that ask the wrong kind of questions , but that is in no way reflective of cliques or some sort of "in" crowd. People that have been around a while but never bother to submit reviews or contribute in other significant ways....well , that is a different matter.
Actually through the years I myself have made efforts to be of help to you. Never understood why you had such a chip on your shoulder. BTW...I ssume you're going to make some recommendations to the OP???
seeing that I have been out of the hobby for so long, I don't have any suggestions for him. But I won't give him the standard, "You have no reviews or board presence, therefore you are shit" response.
