That we cross posted the same locales with polar opposite perspectives.  

I have never had hotel staff give me a 2nd look in Crystal or Pentagon City.  Of course, I look professional walking in and I act like I belong there which are significant factors.

I stayed in Dupont Circle on my last tour. I am returning next month and was wondering if there is any other area that may be convenient for the gentlemen besides there?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated! :)

Chinatown area, Verizon Center, has grown alot in the past several years.  Many brand name hotels in the area such as three Marriott brands and the Hilton.  A host of restaurants and movie theater.

In addition, if you're considering the entire DMV I'd recommend the following areas and stay away from MD as LE has gone sting crazy.

- Tysons Corner
- Old Town Alexandria
- Crystal and Pentagon cities
