I have noticed a plethora of posts about Craig's List Adult section being shut down.
Some guys ( and ladies) are frantic while others saw the shutdown coming.
As a low volume lady, I have had an influx of emails from gents finding my ads in other areas, and it is quite funny as they check to see if I have TER reviews, and mention my reviews in their first email of interest.

Gentlemen-How has the shutdown affected your hobbying?

Ladies-How has the shutdown affected your advertisement?

I am posting under an alias .....well....just because I can! LOL!

Seriously, let's hear it.

craigslist is still up they just made a new website for the adult section, see link below.  And be careful ladies they are stealing providers ads.

I recognize a number of the ladies there from reviews here. It seems that, at least for now, CL may be an actual option.

Any takers on how long this will last?

..made BP much more difficult to navigate. Most ads on CL were bs anyways, so many here tended to stay away. BP was looking to become a much more solid option as long as you did your homework, but that may be over now.

As for myself, if the lady posting the ad is also reviewed or a member of p411 or date-check then that is enough to mitigate the risk.

I'm no vet here so I can only TOFTT with the referral of a known quantity. ( be they another lady, gent, or verification service).

Well I'm a newbie and I've heard a great deal about the whole CL deal.  I've never posted on that site---EVER!  But from the news broadcasts, pimps were mostly involved.  If it stops low life pimps, I'm all for it:)  But in my opinion, it seems CL is the worst way to advertise.  It's always good to research what you're getting into(ladies and gents).

Never used CL or BP so no direct effect until sites like this one become the next LE focus or until we are innundated with many of the CL/BP scammers as their next place to scam from.
