Saturday is my one year anniversary in the hobby. Don't worry, not going to bore anyone with what I have learned, my views a year later, etc.
Just wanted to drop by and thank those that have been patient with and kind to me. Especially to the ladies, some who have had to tolerate my idiosyncrasies. I will say that based on the women I have met, most are much better people than non-hobbyists would expect. Stereotypical views of women in this profession are not correct in most cases. IMO
rollercoaster ride, NEVER would have expected so much in a year. From the most wonderful day/night I have had in nearly 2 decades (except family-associated memories) to the biggest self-inflicted train wrecks one can imagine. The "year of discovery" sure as heck was not boring to say the least! LOL
Congrats StanVa! May you have many more smooth sailing and infinite treasures to discover. Imagine Baltimore Betty jumping out of your anniversary cake...wouldn't it be a dream come true? Or someone else perhaps... cheers &congrats!
