Would love to have some great recommendations for great places to eat in the Dupont Circle area.  I love Fish, Sushi and a good steak is always nice.  Really appreciate your help

The app Yelp is amazing; amazing in a sense that the feedback's and reviews are from local residents. There is a certain level of credibility when the reviews are from local residents. Mobile devices such as smartphones have Yelp, and Yelp also has an regular website (which is listed below).

I have actually avoided going to restaurants because of the reviews. With Yelp, you can click a certain restaurant by its genre, such as Steak, and it will show you the majority of steak restaurants. It will give you the website of the restaurants, the reviews and feedback's (current reviews are always listed first), the ratings, the prices, the photos, the hours of operation, and other information pertaining to the restaurant. Here is what the majority of users say about the steak, seafood, and sushi restaurants in Dupont Circle. Yelp also has other non-restaurant reviews.

(Steak Restaurant: I've been to 2100 Prime and the food is absolutely amazing. Pricey, but fair)

(Sushi Restaurant: I've been to Sushi Taro a few times. Authentic Sushi. Pricy, but you pay for quality)

(Seafood Restaurant: I've been to Hanks Oyster Bar as well. Fantastic and fresh Oyster and plenty of seafood selections. Its affordable)

Not strictly in Dupont Circle, but at 17th and I Streets, just a short walk or quick Metro trip away ....

Great food, very upscale, and maybe you will see some famous DC politicos .....

As a former Sommelier I have dined at, worked for and ever critiqued most of the high End DC restaurants in the DC area. here is my lists of favorites

Sushi: Makoto in the Palisades area is unrivaled and a more casual one is in Tako Grill in Bethesda.

Italian: Assaggi in Bethesda (Gnocci is off the chart) for the food. Cafe Milano in Georgetown for the Atmosphere.

French: Marcelles in Foggy Bottom for the food, Bistro Francais in Georgetown for a late night dinner

Steakhouse: Charlie Palmer in the Capitol Hill area, The Palm Steakhouse in Dupont Circle

Seafood: Cantlers in Annapolis (a little out of the way but well worth the drive) True Maryland seafood like Crabs caught that morning served with a mallet and old bay seasoning. DC is not a good place for seafood IMHO.

Others worth mentioning: Zytenya in Gallery Place for drinks and medeterannian tapas, Grill From Ipanema in Adams Morgan for Brazilian Steak, Restaurant 701 in Gallery Place for cutting edge american menu with possibly DCs best wine selection, Bardeo in Cleveland park for Tapas and a glass of Rioja, Citronelle is DC's most exclusive Chow hall but reservations must be made way in anvance. Oh and I forgot to mention that Irish/Scottish place that seems to have popped up everywhere.......McDonalds

Any questions, wine recomendations, breakfast, late night dining, send me a PM

This is the best organic restaurant in the DC area. You can go organic vegan or get all the meat and cheese but still organic. My friend raises free range Angus beef for Nora.

Along with all of the great choices already presented, you may also want to consider Central, at 12th and Pennsylvania Ave. N.W.  Just a short walk from three metro stops.  Like Citronelle, it's a Michael Richard restaurant, but you can get a seat much easier.  Excellent French inspired American menu, with a very nice wine selection.
