I understand what you are saying. Hell, I'm in knots right now because my ATF has priced herself out of my range and has not offered to grandfather me in at the old rate.
Somebody on the Newbie board once wisely called this the "Dixie Chicken" phenomenon. Google the lyrics to the Little Feet song if you don't know it. Basically, a guy thinks he has shared a special moment with a girl, and when he tries to tell a bartender about it he learns that every guy in the bar has shared that same moment with the same girl.
Sometimes reading reviews gives me that feeling.
Haven't been at it for too long, but also not a brand newbie. But i just saw my ATF, and wow I haven't been able to stop thinking about her all day. My question is should i post a review? She already has a couple of great ones up and I don't want to give her another great one because it would make her more popular and thus hard for me to see again, and she is new to the biz so if she starts seeing so many people she might get jaded and when i go back she won't give me the same performance right?
So what are the reason's i should post? Obviously i could be over thinking it and over-emphasizing the importance of my one review but I just thought this would be interesting fodder and i wanted to get some different takes of "why should i post?" from providers and hobbyist.
Still thinking about her....
"Obviously i could be over thinking it and over-emphasizing the importance of my one review"
I'd say you are.
Had it not been for the previous reviews you read, you would have never even known about her. The right thing to do would be to give back to the community that gave to you.
Being on the new review list does bring attention to us and this is a very good thing. It brings more hits to our website and makes our phone ring.
You may want to be selfish but if this lady knows your member name your post just got you in hot water. She may not be so warm the next time around or generous with her time.

If you are thinkning about HER, then post a good review. This will bring her business and will be good for her. I know what you're thinking, but it doesn't work that way ![]()
Good luck!
I've found a lady's reaction to a good review to be just the opposite. She will more likely be grateful for the good review, and your time with her may be even better the next time. Granted, she may get a little busier, but that's probably what she wants, and if you've helped her out with your review, she just might be willing to show her gratitude.
Your reasoning not to write one is selfish. Because she might "get jaded" and "won't give you the same service?" Wow! That is really bad! Unfortunately, you are not alone with your thoughts.
There are a handful of clients I have seen that will never write me a review. One cannot because he doesn't want one of his ATF's to see it. The others are like you. They like me too much and do not want to share their experience with anyone else.
It is not a problem for me. I never pressure anyone to write a review. It's a tough one for me to comment on. Mostly, because I respect the gents decision not to write one.
That being said, if you have an "off the charts" time with someone, posting a review is the right thing to do and is nice to receive.
Guys sometimes say in a review or in a post here something like, "I should keep her my little secret. Now I will never be able to schedule another appointment with her!"
It's funny that you were actually thinking that.
Yes, you are overthinking this. Write the review.
One of my sweetest moments in the hobby was when I saw my ATF for the second time. As we started to play she cooed, "thanks for the great review," then mentioned a couple of details from it during the session.
I love the way she thanked me.
from her on your next visit if you DON"T post a review. Your thinking is totally backwards.
If she satisfied you, and it sounds like she did, then do HER a favor and recipricate with a nice review.
Plus, by adding another review to your total, you will eventually have 10. Then we can really flame your stupidity when you get on the "Reviewers Only" board!! LOL
Dang return key! LOL So let me finish. While I agree that we never should have to do a review, especially of an ATF, I definitely do not agree with your reasoning. As you described it, your reasons are a bit selfish.
For others of us, there is a different reasoning used. If you are a hobbyist that sees the ladies as more than just a commodity, each situation can be different. It is human interaction. ATFs in particular can be hard to review if there is a human element involved.
In my case I have just decided that it is my business and I want to keep at least this one private and not disect or analize it so other guys can judge it. Do I want her to meet her business goals? Sure, I want to be supportive but in this case I prefer to just keep it special and private to me. I guess when I think about it maybe my reasoning is also selfish. But I just want to enjoy this one without the world having a ringside seat.
I understand what you are saying. Hell, I'm in knots right now because my ATF has priced herself out of my range and has not offered to grandfather me in at the old rate.

But it is a dichotomy:
You want to keep her all to yourself - you don't want to share. That is both understandable and natural. Selfish, but we all understand.
However:
Good reviews will bring her more business. That is good for her. It is good for you too, since it will keep her in business. Without enough clients, she will disappear from the hobby and you won't get to see her again.
Clients are fickle. Most tend to flit from flower to flower and there are always plenty of new ones blooming. This means that we tend to neglect even the sweetest and loveliest that we have seen before, and by the time we come 'round their way again, they are gone.
e.g.: The lovely and sweet Miki Todo has retired. I meant to write a review, but got busy and never did.
I'm not the reason she retired (I hope), but it can add up. I wish her well and hope she is successful and happy.
Submit the review.
On a related note, is it good etiquette here to post more than a single review of a lady when you repeat? I've gone back several times, usually with similar experiences, but never known what to do about any changes.
If her service gets much better or worse, if she has a drastic change in appearance you want to comment on (implants, etc.), or maybe she has come back from a retirement (pregnancy would maybe cover two there), and you want to file a new review, you can. You won't get VIP credit for it, and guys rarely do it.
