its an educational board game by  Robert Kiyosaki that teaches accounting, finance, and investing at the same time and its actually alot of fun.

Just interested to know if anyone else has played it and your thoughts. :) Hope everyone has had a fantastic Monday!

I played the game quite a sometimes with a group of friends. I bought it. I really like it, although it requires you to have a notepad and a calculator if you don't want to suffer. Very educative and fun.

But I did read one of his books.  I figured he got enough of my money so I passed.

Never played but I have played monopoly and imagine it is similar.  I wouldn't put too much into what people like Kiyosaki sell other then entertaining.  He makes his money as a salesman by building the hopes up of people who have little business acumen.  I don't think he has ever succsessfully ran a business.  What he gives is similar to a pep talk before a football game (nothing wrong with that) as long as you are aware.  Everything he expounds is common sense within you.  Sorry I was so long winded.

I started reading him back in 2006..  waited for the crash in 2007/8, purchased about 8 properties (yes in the dc area) and living the dream today.  Excellent game to teach you the basics.. get the computer version you can play the computer and/or other people online and you don't need pad and paper unless you get the board-game.. which is good if you have a group that likes to play things like this.  There is a 101 and a 102 computer game.. get both.

Yes he teaches things everyone should know already, yet somehow when he gets it into your head you will wonder how you ever really ignored that stuff.  The whole idea is that his rich dad had little to no formal education and knew how money works, and how to put money to work for you and his poor dad was highly educated and worked for a living, dying broke.

it is a great educational tool for all ages and i have learned a bit about investing. I played the 101 version. I'll definitely have to look into the computer version as well.

Thanks for the input guys! :)
