So a provider I had planned to see at 4 p.m. just cancelled. She had a very legit reason, so that's not what this post is about. But this is a provider that is always booked up and who I booked about 6 weeks ago. Needless to say, I was amped up to see her.
So my question is this: What do I do now? I'm still amped up, you know? But this has happened twice in the past and each time, when I booked someone else on short notice, the session did not come close to meeting expectations.
Just because you were planning on banging someone today and she canceled doesnt mean your life is over! Maybe you should take a little time and plan something instead of diving into the first open hole you find.
This is why I never made advance appts more than a week out.
Few weeks ago, I had a provider cancel on me on the 2nd call right at her building! Then I couldn't find a substitute the whole week.. Talk about a bad case of blueballs!!
Some weeks are like that and there's just nothing you can do. Cold showers, working extra hours, exercize do whatever that can keep the beast at bay. Just don't let your other head take your judgement over in desparation!
notice, usually with a few hours noticed. I enjoy agencies for this very reason, it's quick, efficient, and accommodating. Also, they will reply within 5 minutes of an email to confirm your appointment if your already prescreen with them.
I called one provider and found out she was at hotel in walking distance from where I live (too close for comfort). The other provider had already checked out of the hotel. There have been times where one cancelled on me for an overnight. I ended up bringing back $1200 back in cash onetime. As someone mentioned it is amazing that appointments happen given all the random things that can come up at the last minute.
