Not to stomp on the rave reviews in the Wednesday thread below, but all they did for me was add to the disappointment.

Saw her ad last week on Eros; immediately sent her, or her scheduler, an email, requesting a Thursday appointment. Was polite, not explicit, mentioned that I had seen reviews for a while, gave her my TER handle for reference, even explained that I was mostly a 'lurker' nowadays, for personal reasons, asked if she needed more for reference (which I could - and offered to - provide, in a heartbeat), and received no reply at all. Was out of town until Tuesday, and was sad to see no reply upon checking email that day.

To be fair, I was in a time frame pinch; been traveling, am traveling again tomorrow (family issues), so had a very short window. Requested a Thursday 1 pm appt, and mentioned my limited availablity. Was sincere about the time frame;even gave a couple hour window.

Could not check my email the past week to even se if there was a reply. Checked it yesterday (Wednesady), and nothing.

Look, I understand that things happen on both sides. And I'm not pissed, but I am disappointed. I have to believe that I was one of the first few to respond to her Eros What's New ad, and I think a response of any kind would have been polite.  Believe me, there was no 'indiscreet' language in my email. And as I said, I gave her a few hour window, and was willing to abide by that window.

To answer in advance, I prefer to schedule by email, but would have called if given the opportunity. Just couldn't. I do believe that a polite, discreet, email a week in advance of a tour deserves a response.

Am I wrong?

Missy seems to be somewhat selective in her appoints.  She also does not take a lot of appointments per day.  So I would be guessing she was probably booked for this trip and did not see the need to reply to your email.  

I know that is not the answer you want but some providers can pick who and how many they see.  Missy is one of them.

I should mention I emailed her the first day she posted she was going to be here.  

If you think Missy was less than polite, try reaching Robin in DC.  If your "polite-O-meter"  goes off when no returned email or returned phone, try Robin... She would be the queen of impolite!

I understand your situation 100%. I have this happen with many providers. It seems that we are supposed to knock ourselves out to provide them with info, but they can't take the time to responde to an e-mail. I don't get it. I am going to be in the DC area later this month and I have contacted a number of ladies, provided them with contact info, references, etc. and still no reply from most of them. I'm not saying that all of the ladies are like this, but I run into this allot. I was going to Raleigh a few weeks ago and contacted a few ladies there and only got one reply back, so this is not just a DC problem. If a ladie is booked or she's going to be out of town or even if she just feels like not seeing you, would it be so hard to reply with a quick note saying something like " I'm sorry but this weekend is bad for me but if you would like to set something up in the future I'd love to hear from you" Would that make a difference? You bet it would, at least to me it would. This way we know that you're not available and we can make other plans. I just see it as common courtesy. For all you wonderful ladies that do responde I say "Thank you" (You all know who you are)

No you are not wrong.  I looked through my unanswered emails and saw that you did email me and were very polite. I  usually do send reponses saying that I am no longer available ( I email the gents that have previously seen me before I place the ad so sometimes I do not have alot of availability when I arrive),  please understand that some of us ladies constantly tour and sometimes get an email that we mean to answer a little later and it  gets lost in the shuffle unintionally.  I usually use an assistant and she is on vacation, so I was on my own.

I apologize for not answering your email, it was not my intent to blow you off (no pun intended)  These things sometimes happen.  I just wish that you would have contacted me again to explain the situation. You emailed me once, I am am afraid that it did get lost in the shuffle.  I would've have explained, given you the apology you deserve and would have offered you a different rate to make up for the inconvenience.   Sometimes, things happen unintionally that can be easily explained with a follow up email.

You will be surprise at how many providers don't check there e-mail.. If they are traveling, they sometime have computer melt down (no connection, bad battery..).. Call them and leave a message, you will be surprise at the response.. Some don't even have a computer..

BTW; I got thru to Robin voicemail.. So I am getting close..lol Also have you notice all the traveling guys that seem to get thru and see her.. We have been trying for months or years and no joy.lol

Missy, so nice to see your post here to clear all this up.  I knew you were WAY too nice for it to have been anything intentionally negligent.  BTW, nice to find out that you will automatically email notices of your next trip to those here who have seen you.

 Guys, many of us who saw Missy knew about how she was handling everything this trip.  It's just amazing what all that entails PLUS providing as well.  I think she did very well under the circumstances.  The alternative would have been that she wouldn't have come at ALL.  Knowing what I NOW do, that would have been regrettable.

Alright, I understand that you may email the gents you have seen before, and this limits your availability. What doesn't make sense to me is why post a tour to get everyone else's hopes up when there is very little chance they will get to see you? It can be very discouraging.

I understand crsc7's disappointment and agree with GM-Debani's question, but I still think it was a class act for Missy to come on the board and explain herself. It shows she seems to take customer satisfaction seriously (and that she's at least monitoring something.)As for me, my rule is that I'll give any provider one opportunity to screw up (not show, be really late, no email reply, etc.) and then I move on. It means I miss out on the Robins of the hobbying world, but there are still a lot of high quality, local providers (e.g., Hot Angelina) out there who are very good about email replies and call backs. I stick with them. My time is too valuable.
