Thunderstorms.

Just had one.

Barely past 3pm, I paid the cashier and headed to my car. I needed sunglasses then, but I could tell a thunderstorm was imminent.

I stopped by the gas station for a fill-up. Driving home a few blocks away, The sky darkened. I removed my sunglasses.

When I turned into the cul-de-sac, the wind gusted. Rain started to fall. Carrying my groceries, I had to run for the door.

As soon as I was inside. The wind grew stronger and the rain poured. The light went off for a minute. I heard sirens. Thunder clapped at my backyard. I looked out the window. The wind blew the rain to the left, then to the right, then -- with the window open -- right at my face. The beauty of nature; we are under its mercy.
