As you may all know there  was recently a new regional ad board added to the list. Now providers can place ads for Virginia when previously there was only Washington DC.  
 
My question is .... As a hobbyist who is interested in having fun in the northern va area ... Would you look in the Washington DC ad boards or would you look at the Virginia boards ???  
 
I see people posting for tysons, ect. In the Virginai board which would make sense. However are people creatures of habit and rather than use the new vA board are they continuing to use the DC board instead? My impression was that the VA ad board was  reserved for the more distant cities in southern VA  such as Richmond? Am I wrong ? Please advise !  
 
It would help greatly if I could get some feed back from the users!!

Much like BP, since SoMD & NoVA are under WDC, People tend to look at WDC most frequently.

Since the VA one was made I check both however as a creature of habit I make sure to check the DC one first.

NoVA is considered part of the WDC metropolitan area.  (And almost anyone living here will tell you that.)   The Virginia board is/should be for the rest of Virginia.  As I hobby in NoVA, I don't waste time with the VA board.

There was a thread earlier about this and the conclusion was the Virginia board is more for Richmond and south while the DC board covers the greater metro DC area, not just DC.

I really only peruse the DC board.  Every once in a while I'll check the Virginia board and sometimes I do see NOVA stuff there.  But I like the idea that the Virginia board is for Richmond, Roanoke, Hampton Roads, etc.

I'm a provider not a hobbyist but I defintely feel like I can have a input on this question.
