I got a call on my burn phone claiming a warrent has been issued for my arrest for soliciting prostitution. I texted providers and inquired about their rates, location and availability. I asked nothing sexual or explicit.  I gave the caller no info and hung up. I googlled the phone # 202 879 1700 and it comes up to the Wash DC court system. I really broke no law and I think the 202 879 1700 number popping up is fake . Maybe not. Does anyone have a similar experience or know anything ?

...you broke no law.

You don't necessarily need to discuss anything explicit to be guilty.

Who are these women who apparently have no websites with information on them and how did you find them?

There’s a possibility that the court number that showed up on your caller ID was a spoof. What instructions were you given following the notification that a warrant had been issued? Turn yourself in?

I called the the 202 879 1700 # and is infact the DC court system main number. The call answerer  was decent and said  if the call was legitimate, the guy would have a court case number and arrest warrants almost never come over the phone. The 879 1700 number appearing on my burn phone, I suppose  , was trick to convince me .  I never gave the caller a chance to ask for payment because I was so enraged and hung up.
I can guarantee that texting providers  from Bedpage, and Skip the Games and most escort sites brought this threatening phone call.  I think 80% of the escort ads are frauds and have altered photos along with false info , especially about age.

I thought asking by text about availability , location and rates , not asking for sex, was ok and broke no law.
How do find these women ?  By daring to try Bedpage ads ,Adult Search,  and just about any escort site these days.

I am sure the caller id showing was a spoof . The caller had like a gang member accent .
Hell no ! , I didn't turn myself in. I committed no crime by texting only for availability.  I called the caller  a fraud among other things  and hung up. Thus  I never gave him the chance to demand  a payment.  He didn't know my name because I didn't use my personal phone for texting escorts.
I am sure a warrant for my arrest would not come over the phone. And there is always a court number that goes along with it.

Scam with capital S.  Ice the phone for few months or toss it for another burner.
Warrent notification over text, well I will be damned LOL

Practice 'Shut the Fuck up' religiously.

I've been in the hobby for almost nine years.  Never had a false call to my burner number.  This week I inquired on an ad from a lady who's last review was four years ago.  Within an hour of my email I receive a spoof call from this number (court system ID).  I didn't pick up and no voicemail left.

I may change my burner number.  Starting to feel scammers who post fake ads to get burner numbers and then attempt to black mail.  Remember: never give last name, ID, address, etc.  Anything that can help anyone find you is trouble.

Stay safe.

I book by email only. I don’t care how hot a provider looks on her ad, if there’s no email address to contact her, it’s a no go for me.

Stay away from bedpage, list crawler, and other unknown pages. They are full of scams.

I did receive a spoof call on my burn phone. A guy with said I violated some numbered law and I was wanted for questioning. He didn't call my name ,because he didn't know it.  He also didn't have a court case number.  He was hoping to shake me up and then offer me a way out by me getting a money card and paying him .  I just never let him get to that point. I blew up at him and hung up.
So far all these scammer cockroaches have with a burn phone is just a number. But that doesn't mean they won't try to scam you. I am now convinced that 80% of al ads on escort sites are scams.
