I went to her place and everything seemed to be going as usual with some discussion about the hour I just paid for. The next thing I know the door is flying open and there is more LE than a sobriety check point. I found myself in room with my ID being checked and a trip to the local poke. I nearly shit my pants! I was told that there is an initiative to do reverse stings in many DC and surrounding areas. Apparently any emails, posts, threads, etc. can be used against you. I am not providing any more details as I was informed not to. I do not post much on this site so I feel OK offering some words of caution. This was a fucked up experience, I am single but I think about how much more of a disaster this would be if I weren't. Do not ask me for more details as I will not respond. Let's face it, more than Hobbyists and providers read these boards. Proceed with caution.

And otherwise, do not break any laws or demonstrate intent to engage in criminal activity with any new ladies you might see. It's old-hat, but:
1.) don't discuss green leaves or services before meeting...
2.) Never discuss green leaves or services before getting physical with someone you have not met before... (I know male LE are game for getting down & dirty during a bust, but I highly doubt the reverse)...
3.) If you're going to an incall location, don't bring your blackberry/lap-top...
and you'll be fine.
I doubt the credibility of the OP, honestly. Maybe I'm paranoid, but a part of me thinks that posts like that are intended to rally hysteria & fear & reduce demand without even shelling out cash for reverse sting operations. But that may just be paranoia.
Soldout - So sorry for your situation. That said, while your intentions are probably helpful, you've provided no information to help members of the community reduce risk. Without identifying the provider ad, location or other specifics, your notice is no more helpful than the general admonition that some of the things discussed here can get you arrested. That said, I wouldn't blame you if you went completely silent on this.
Yes, if LE runs a sting or seizes the computer records of an arrestee, they can use any of this information in an investigation and possibly introduce it as evidence.
LE will always warn someone in your position not to share information that could compromise their investigation, but guess what - you have a right to do so. You can share with the public that you were incarcerated in jurisdiction X for offence y - we do not have secret arrests in this country. You do need to make a judgement call about whether any leniency they may have shown you will be undermined by exercising this right. My advice is - get a lawyer, know your rights, and STFU. Even if they released you with no charge - they can change their mind.
Its really no point posting this thread, shit like this happens all the time. Here in DC, Maryland, and Nova, theirs always LE activities as it pertains to the hobby. Your situation is not unique and not uncommon. A quick search will reveal many busts in our area, and its usually happens every few months or so.
Eros is not exclusive to LE, and LE uses every form of advertising including BackPage. From reading your only review, I would have had better expectations from you. Your first review was from a ripoff artist. I would have thought that you've learned from your mistakes and took necessary precautions before contacting another provider.
You think LE will know that its specifically you when you out the provider on a public forum? More than likely, they've busted several hobbyist that day. You have already created a thread about it. There are ways to be discrete when creating a thread while still sharing appropriate resources. Your thread lacks that.

I am married, and I can tell you, I was much more concerned with successfully lying to my wife about it than the stupid misdemeanor on my record. Busts happen, and the Hobby community represented by those who place adds and those who post on TER has tons of BS myths about how easy it is to avoid being busted, just see this thread. LE Check gropes, Promsing nobody is "affiliated with law enforcement", add disclaimers about consenting adults, use of euphamisms for money or sex, ALL BULL SHIT. All that I did was mumble something vaguely affirmative when she said "are you here for the GFE?", did not discuss money or anything else. I was held in a tiny cage without water for 21 hours, though let off with a John School after the hearing. IF YOU ENTER THE LE STING ROOM, YOU ARE GOING TO JAIL, PERIOD. Its just a misdemeanor, so the arrest is the desired determant outcome, not a successful trial and air tight evidence chain.
