This one saying how much you make--substantially more than I do if your claim is accurate.

The one below complainng about how much the ladies charge.  In that context I do not believe you will get much simpathy that they are beyond your reasonable price range!

2400/week as stated would be well above the typical (assuming net is 60% of gross) that makes a salary of about $208k. Not outrageous, but higher than typical for this area. Certainly someone at that salary level shouldn't whine about a $400 donation.

Of course, in my experience, money and brains do not equate in general, and especially in this region (see link on relationship between power, money and knowledge).

Of course, the OP may have mis-stated. Maybe that is his monthly or bi-weekly or semi-monthly take home pay.

Regardless, it doesn't matter much to me either way. Someone making more or less than me doesn't change the amount of hobby funds I have available, unless beefeater wants to adopt me.

Income does not determine if you are overspending. What is your monthly expense? How much have you saved for emergency and retirement?

By the way, the hobby is a hobby. I don't know if there's a standard for overspending.
