I personally would prefer the SD SB arrangement over the hobbyist life style. Seems like a perfect relationship to me, all of the good and none of the bad. I totally can't afford to be a SD though so I usually just see a provider that I really like as a person as well as in bed overe and over until they either leave the area or quit. I guess the SD arrangement is more appealing to me because I often wish that I could spend time outside of the bedroom with my favorite on a somewhat regular basis but again I'm not wealthy enough.
I enjoy the SD world better because the dates feel more genuine and they are more cost effective. A 2-4 hour extended date with a good provider is close to or over $1000. For $1000 I can have 2-3 "real" dates with no time limit with an equally attractive girl.
Nothing beats the scheduling and guarantee of using a provider which I do once every 3 months now. I do see some providers who are now UTR but haven't ventured out to see anyone new in almost a year.
I have to differ in my view. SD is a relationship that needs maintenance and likely exposes you a bit more. The hobby is (or should be) more anonymous. The other issue is that you can have more variety in the hobby, and if you end up connecting can make that girl a regular. But the important thing is being able to walk away. The question may be difference for single or divorced guys, but if you have a family I would stick with hobby.
Excellent point, I'm pretty sure that if I were married I would feel the same. On the other hand, for the single guy, the SD relationship offers more of the relationship feeling with none of the relationship problems that I'm sure if those gents are anything like me don't have the time or patients to deal with at this point in my life. What I'm trying to say is, I think it would be much more satisfying and fill the void much better that 1 hour pops while not getting in the way to much.
Valid points you don't want a girl going psycho on you lol. For married men I'll agree the hobby is much better. I just like the clock free aspects of a SB.
I'm married and have dabbled in both the hobby and the SB world.
I prefer the SB world because of the "clock-free" aspect. The SBs I see most often are 35+, who don't want to get married, respect the fact that I am, and have given me their actual contact information, are careful, and very discreet.
In each case, I have said we're doing this thing for a limited amount of time. Now, I have not yet had one get attached or go BSC. All part of the SB risk, no doubt.
I actually wonder how wives view providers vs. SBs? Are they viewed the same? I am guessing that wives would prefer providers because of the true NSA. But, who knows? I hope I never find out.
BTW, I am in the hobby because of no action at home. For years. Then, enough of that stuff.
I have been in a SB arrangement since June. Very expensive. One month I spent about $2100 on her. On the other hand we have a very close relationship. We communicate with each other everyday, sometimes see other 3 or 4 times a week. I don't have to worry about being on the clock with a stopwatch.
SB arrangement is something not to be taken lightly. If the right person comes along with right chemistry it can be great.
