Arlington - Metro accessible?

Hi,

I was wondering if provider's locations are ever metro accessible and in Arlington. Traffic in NOVA is so bad that going to Tysons isn't always a good option during a workday. Also, DC (DuPont) isn't always convenient.

Thanks!

Almost all major hotels in Arlington are near METRO or within walking distance.

"Arlington" covers a lot of turff and while mostthe hotels are metro friendly some are not.  Crystal City & Rosslyn are fine.  The area near Courthouse Sq is underused by visitors though a number of local providers work near there.

Right now prices seem up on hotels across the area.  Drop me a PM for some specific suggestions if you want.

Because I am coming up there in 2 weeks I am doing major searching for accommodations right now in Arlington.

Yes most are accessible to the metro however not necessarily in walking distance.  Ex.  where I am thinking about staying is like 2 miles from the metro station.

So I guess a cab is necessary from that point on.. still pretty convenient though..

Yes Dupont is generally pretty close but hotel bills are outrageous right now..

Hope this helps you out.

walking distance from Rosslyn Metro (one was 10-12 min, others closer), there are at least 8 or so hotels easy walk from Crystal City Metro, and Pentagon City Metro has a Ritz-Carlton right on top of it.

is that they require a room key in the elevator.

Meeting the "other person" in the lobby is fine, but having them come up to the room is a problem.

I'd also look at the Foggy Bottom metro.  Only 1 stop into DC there are a number of nice hotels there also.

The Ritz at Tyson's II and Pentagon City both have mall access.
Tyson's Ii has free parking.  You could met your client in the mall and then both of you go up to the room together.

Tyson'sII Ritz the elevators are not in direct view of the front desk.
Suggest meeting in a store or in front of a store.

Arlington is my usual stomping ground though i'm in silver spring this weekend. Wherever I stay in Arlington I like to stick as close to crystal city metro or pentagon city metro as possible.
