Are you implying that if the majority thinks the new site is bad, it must be bad?

I did not ask you to stop complaining, why did you ask me to stop voicing my opinion?

I never said that the new site was perfect. If you go to the GD board, the Suggestion board, as well as this board, I complained about a few things such as the font size, and that we need a "view all" option which, by the way, is forthcoming. I suggested some improvements such as providing a button to expand a thread or all threads; that would look like the old site.

I don't just complain. I also suggest. Unfortunately, some people would see that as shilling.

By the way, the mod might NOT like the new format either. What makes you so sure that he would grab his ankles? I wish. :-D

Do they give you free VIP access?  

Does the Moderator bend over and grab his ankles for you?

TER hasn't said squat about why they moved to this update?

Or acknowledged that a majority of the posters think the new site sucks.

So just can can you PR flack for them please.

Use this, its the old site. I wonder if TER can tell people are using the classic.ter VS the new TER??? Also I wonder if they care, they should as Im sure TER makes a lot of money from VIP members.
I will cancel my (3year)VIP membership if the new site stays and the classic version becomes unavailable. I feel like this board will go from lively to dead very soon with this layout
No one likes it and its not a matter of accepting change, its because the new site is very annoying and not user friendly at all. The discussion boards suck...who has time to go through every post?

Yesterday morning, when I checked TER for the first time and was rudely greeted by the sudden switch to the "beta" format, I'm sure I saw a link to the "classic" site right there on the homepage.  By the afternoon, that link was gone. Interesting decision by the site admins to remove it.  Now, unless you're  a reader of the boards who is reading through each thread, you'd have no idea there was a "classic" version still available.

Me, I still prefer the classic and will use it for as long as its available.

I must agree.  The old style is so much easier to skim over and participate in.  Improvements should make things better and more user friendly.  Not this.

While I "almost" always agree with you, Betty, it is rare that I agree with db, but in this case, I definitely agree.  Many improvements could/should have been made, but not what was done...the new version makes it very difficult to read posts, understand who is making what point and worse of all, everytime that someone adds a reply, the post goes back to the top.  I had difficulty finding new posts.

I do hope that management is paying attention.

We will know if they are if no reviews are posted this week because they are spending so much time answering complaints that they not have enough time to look at reviews :) LOL

This nonsense however has me P.O.ed. I dont see any reason for it. If they want to put up a prettier site, that could have been done without all this other nonsense.

Problem is the classic is only temporary thing. They don't say when it will disappear.

They just need to dump the revisions all together and return to old way.

All they need is to tweak and improve a few things.

I made some suggestions in the GD and Suggestion boards. I think you guys want to see the subject line of all the posts in a thread on the message board main page. They could give us an expend thread option.

The bumping of threads is not working consistently. If ads are not bumped and other posts are bumped, the ads are going to fall off page one quickly. They should increase the number of threads per page to 50 or more.

Change is inevitable. No TER does not give Cottonballs free access, the Mod. does not bend over and grab his ankles for him and TER does not owe you an explanation for 'squat' or shit.  The majority of members do not think this board sucks.... but the poster whinners like you are sure singing out while everyone else laughs.  

The new site is not perfect, but with a few adjustments will probably pan out better than the old. If people really listened to whinners like you, we would all still be looking in the yellow pages at a 6 month old agency ad wondering if the provider would even have any teeth, lol.   Maybe you and db911 should go in a corner somewhere and grab each others ankles, lol.
