I remember when I was 18, and boy, I was a dumb fucker and made a lot of crazy decisions at that age. He didn't grasp the concept of the long term consequences when he did what he did. The court room should take that into consideration. His behavior is not excusable, but the sentence is not justifiable IMO. Love, which is the emotional state that causes a "chemical" change in the body that will make people do stupid things. This is also scientifically proven as well, take a look at the website below. A person may be irrational when he is in love and make stupid decisions.

He had a bright future, and he's just a kid. The sentence should be community service, and his ex-girlfriend even wanted a lighter sentence. As it relates to the hobby, there are guys that say the love or fall in love for providers, well, just be careful because love can make you do irrational things.

That middle age white women (judge) is a nut job and was definitely bias to that young African American man. She looks like a damn racist if you ask me. Hell, I'll even say that this sentencing is her way to gratify her own insecurity in men. The sentence is not justifiable to the crime.

Damn shame isn't it. So many think it's about race when it's about abuse. Had that been your daughter I'm guessing you would have let him get off easy right? Be real. Or is it your opinion men have the right to abuse women and only get a slap on the wrist? I think that's more likely.

He was told to leave her alone, instead he repeated contacted her and threatened her. I'm sorry but his poor poor pitiful me look and surprise didn't gain one second of sympathy from me. Someone in jail will give him the bitch slapping he gave her I'm sure, and maybe a little more.

This man is 6'7" tall!  He KICKED her in the head 4 times.  WTF is wrong with you???  I don't care what color he is.  He could have killed her with ONE kick!  The sentence IS what he deserves.  It is sad.  But HE made the choice to assault her.

....from my former college (in Richmond VA) for getting out of place and beating their gf's up etc. There was this one guy who regularly kicked the crap out of his gf yet he never got suspended or kicked out of the school..... never got why. He threw her through windows (she was like 5 ft tall and 100lbs soaking wet then), almost broke her arm once, choked her out another time etc etc.

That guy is serious trouble, and his post-arrest intimidation made it clear he needed a far more serious wake up call than just the arrest.

My guess is that he will continue that sort of behavior when he gets out.

To him, this is a travesty of justice, not the product of his behavior.

A lot a pro  athletes  are.  Psychopats and  behave  like  this  the  only   difference is that  they have enough money for a good lawyer and get away with it!!!

personally to make that kind of assessment. You have no idea what my profession is, and how I was able to make that conclusion from that case. This is not your personal case, and so you shouldn't be personally offended from another person's opinion. It is only my opinion, and I have every right to make that opinion. Yours however, it was a personal attack.

Let's make this clear. You do not know me personally to call me a "sick minded idiot". What you have to understand is, these kinds of threads will always be controversial and heated. We both have different opinions on the sentencing, but you do not need to get personal and label me. Respect my opinion and don't get personal.

Another thing you have to understand is, I'm not your average client. For the ladies that have met me, they can testify that I am probably the nicest guy they've met, and I am very generous in this hobby and in their personal lives as well. A sick minded idiot is not incapable of this, and I have achieved more in the past year or so than most clients here. I have established many wonderful relationships because I am a nice guy.

Your own opinion makes little difference to me and does not affect me in anyway. The significant difference is, it's the hobbyist and providers that have met and talk to me is qualified to assess who I am as a person. In my humble OPINION it is sick minded for you to think what he did to that woman wasn't too severe.  He is HUGE compared to her.  He is 6'7" tall!  He dragged her around by her hair.  And he kicked her more than 4 times.  He is lucky!  If one of the kicks he gave her would have killed her, he would be serving a whole lot longer than three years.  He would be serving life in prison.  So I think even with the 3 year sentence, he got off easy.

Furthermore, I have been following this case very closely.  So I could care less what you do for a living.  Your profession does not justify your opinion to be more valuable than mine.  As sad as it is to see a young, attractive athlete be sentenced to prison for 3 years, I am happy he has to pay for his actions.

I do not take what you posted personally.  That being said, in my OPINION your post was sick minded and distasteful.  You also tried to make this a racial issue.  It has NOTHING to do with race.  He committed a crime.  He was wrong.  And now he is being punished for said crime.  Whether he is Black, White, Indian, Hispanic, Asian...whichever!  DOES NOT MATTER.

time you silly women. You keep on emphasizing that he's taller than her. Does it make a difference if he is shorter than her, or if that was a women instead of a tall African American man? The fact is, there is an injustice for young African American men in the judicial system. That is a fact. Throughout history, if your a young African American man, your sentence will be greater and more severe. Take a look at the timeline of equality for African American men in the judicial system, that is proof that they are treated less than equal.

If he was white, he wouldn't have gotten that sentence. If he was a women, there wouldn't even be a case. It is your judicial system that is unjust. Take for example the football player that got years for having dog fights in his backyard. You people care more about the dogs than you care about human beings, that is what is wrong with your culture and society. A simple fine is all that is needed IMO. Take a look at the cases against a women, some women are accused of murder and rape, and yet their sentencing is not as severe as an African American man with the same or equivalent crime.

You are just a by stander, and you know absolutely nothing about African American culture. All you do is judge and criticize. Different cultures have different standards, and what you view is severe, other cultures do not view that as severe. You are the type of person that will label Chinese people as being sick for eating dogs, and yet, you have no idea why they do it.

My profession does justify that my opinion is more valuable than yours. A part of my profession deals with equality, and I am confident to say that I am more qualified than you on this matter. If you have the equivalent education, degrees that support your statements, and have made contributions to equality, then, and only then will I consider you an equal.
