The answer you need is "how to avoid being busted," not the experience of somebody who had it happen.

I would guess that 90% take place in Virginia, 8% in Maryland, and very few in DC, only streetwalking or fluke cases, nothing big since a large federal case in 1987-1990.
(1) Stay out of Virginia. Visit Maryland carefully.
(2) Study the TER reviews and see only well-reviewed providers at a DC location. Providers with several reviews, whether incall or outcall, are the safest from LE. Several visiting agencies are safe too because they choose hotels carefully. Those abbreviations are: MC, SFE, SwUS, BDJ.
DC-Eros.com is otherwise full of fraudulent ads, as is DC-Exotics.com. The French Maids-Baby Dolls group of five ads is totally phony and has been exposed repeatedly.
