Indeed it does seem strange. Unless it's a bunch of clones who are making the posts. Which might explain the similarities in the contents.

New blood is welcome, but clones or not it’s always best to be prudent and to be safe rather than sorry..

GTM makes a good point.  It will be interesting to see if there's a volley of back channel activity from said posters.

if I'm not mistaken, some of the posts were similiar in that they ended their posts with "LOL" giving a lighthearted impression.

Now you got me being paranoid - which okay too.

yea its strange. Someone has a lot of time on their hands.... lol

That's about all I can say other than "SUSPECT".

While there may be something to the newbies being moderated and probably having their posts screened before publishing.  There is something strange abou the very similar nature of the actual posts themselves...

I've also gotten a few PM's recently from people with few posts and zero reviews.  I rarely get PM's.
I did not respond.

Bad news for newbies, but I my mother told me never talk to strangers.

Somebody like brother BeeFEater500, probably gets MANY suspicious PM's.  Do you even open any of them?

and the posts put up to push a certain subject off the front page.

I have alerted admin to the issue and they will be dealing with the perpetrator.

In the meantime, I have removed all of the suspect posts.

There was one name in beef's list that seems to be innocent at this time, so his post has stayed.

an unfamiliar name among the top 10 posters, BTW.
