Another point.... Experienced hobbyists

Another thing I heard is that the hobbyists in NOVA know what they're doing. For example they all know to put the money in an envelope and just drop it on the dresser. They know not to ask too many uncomfortable questions. And they are used to screening. I think I reported about a guy who got extremely angry and began yelling at an independent provider on why he needs to give up his employment information despite having no references and that guy was definitely not from NOVA.

Is it just me or is there a disproportionate number of providers in the Tysons Corner are?

I am located 15 minutes north of Baltimore so my trips to providers are (with no traffic delays) 45 min. to Columbia/BWI, 60 min to Silver Spring, 70 min to Rockville & 70-80 min to Tysons. Is the business that much better in Tysons?

It would be great if some of the providers could start spreading the love around.LOL.

I've noticed the same...great for the punters in Virginia but not for the rest of us...Providers and agenies seem to perfer certain hotel be it in VA. or Md. and they're not always that convenient..Maybe they have an arrangement with house keeping...just kidding.

Personally, just being in Columbia or BWI works ok for me. I realize that I am an outlier geographically so I do not mind a 45 minute drive. To go much further than that I feel I am rushed and run the risk of being late. Thanks for asking!

downtown or arlington county (basically on the orange/blue lines) :)

BWI WOULD BE GREAT FOR ME. I CAN GET TO TYSON'S ONLY ON WEEKENDS. HAVE NEVER MISSED AN APPOINTMENT

that providers have found often generally a better class of clientele in NoVa than DC.
I cant speak to MD but susupect its similiar to NoVa.
They reported less flakes and no shows. Also a smaller percentage of late night calls from drunks wanting immediate appointments. In a phrase, just a better enviornment to be in. Its a shame but perception is reality sometimes, especially for those unsure about where to locate exactly. If they check with previous vistors this may be the message they are getting.
I appreciate where your coming from as often there are girls at BWI or Baltimore I would love to meet but being in NoVa it can be an ordeal to get there.

It was not that long ago that you had a hard time finding providers in Tysons, so yes it has definitely grown.  That said there are still a LOT of hot providers ad great agencies in the BWI area.  I hardly consider the area devoid of talent.

Clearly it is an economic decision and it appears that ladies/agencies are both pleased with the response they have gotten in that location.  Speaking to an earlier post, I too have heard from ladies that they like the clients from that area better and that when they were in DC they found most of their callers were coming in from NOVA anyway.

Check the statistics at www.fairfaxcountyeda.com
Fairfax County has a civilian payroll of 599,217 and Tysons Corner, although not an indepedent jurisdiction, as an area "is Virginia’s largest office market and one of the leading business centers in the nation with 26.3 million square feet of office space."

Believe it or not, Tysons Corner is larger than Miami and if it were a "city" would be in the top 10 in the US.  The majority of the workers in Tysons Corner are very tech-savy (fairfax has 6,200 tech employers), so they are very conversant with using the internet.

Provider chose Tysons over Columbia or Baltimore for the same reason they chose NYC over Camden NJ or Greenwich, Conn.

Honey, I'm in Maryland all the time. Look around a little!

Sounds intriguing! Have we met? (should we meet?) or are you teasing me???

There's plenty of talent (at least 2 agencies) that never strays far from BWI, so I'm not sure what you're complaining about.

Tyson's, Rockville and BWI. Tyson's is my least favorite location, after downtown DC.

Take a pill & chill! I was not complaining only asking a question which if you read it asked about the seeming disproportion of providers in Tysons Corner and not the lack, or non-existence, of providers in BWI. I have had some very nice experiences in BWI/Columbia. (and am looking forward to some more)
