Then Cache and Arden B.

Nordstrom's has the best customer service and as dresses at all price points.

Tyson's, Pentagon City, have all these stores. Not sure about MD.

Yeah, for N VA hit Tysons-II.

I'm personally partial to Ann Taylor, but that tends to be more business dress, but they might have something in the cocktail genre.

Not a big shopper, but recently I had to nice up the wardrobe, on my own ;-(... Being new to this, I liked Nordstrom the most, in terms of both quality and selection.

Another thing I noticed is that same brand stores in different locations won't be the same quality. Farther away from DC, staff tends to get lousy, and selection more "suburban". Macy's in Tyson's is *much* better in selection and personnel compared to Macy's further in the suburbs, like in Gaithersburg, MD.

BTW, I thought the dress you had was quite good, if a bit distracting.
