I think I'm like most hobbyists in that I need a good visual of high-end beauty to set the stage for a nice encounter. We do our homework, check the appearance ratings on reviews, read about whether or not the pictures are accurate, and so forth. Generally speaking, we are looking for a certain quality of appearance when we arrive for a rendezvous, and we are usually disappointed when the appearance is not up to our visual fantasy.
That got me to thinking....Providers, you generally have no idea what we hobbyists look like if it's the first encounter. Does it matter to you if we're ugly, fat, slovenly, or otherwise downright unappealing? I realize you're not in this to be swooped off your feet, but there has to be a certain attraction to make the session worthwhile for you, right? Or can any ugly slob walk in and drop an envelope on the table and have the experience of his life with a gorgeous young swimsuit model? What are the Providers' standards of attractiveness in this setting?
And do any Providers ever say, upon meeting a hobbyist for the first time, "You're too ugly and I can't possibly get aroused with you...?"
Guys, at least me, I can't get a full erection looking at a slob. No thanks, not even if you pay me because I know there is not enough viagra or alcohol that will make me have sex with a slob because I physically can't.
This is a job for girls. They do it to make money. Otherwise, they wouldn't sleep with a slob in their personal lives. As with any other job, you have to deal with diversity and accommodate. Girls are different, they just have to open their legs. Sorry to put it like that, but I don't see any other way of saying it.

who intentionally treat slovenly unclean clients poorly so they don't come back. Not very professional, I know, but I guess it works for them. So lot of YMMV likely has to do with not only client's behavior, but also his appearance and BO.
While I wouldn't be rude to someone I deemed undesirable I certainly have adjusted the experience. More to do with hygiene than looks though. I have reviews where guys say I don't kiss (other forums), or don't allow certain things, and in these reviews I have yet to read the client wondering or assuming HE had anything to do with it.
Ummm yeah, you work with your hands and it shows, you refuse to shower or use any of that mouthwash and soap I brought just for you, maybe you just hate bathrooms? Well guess what? I now hate oral, kissing and anything to do with your hand on or in me. Any questions?

I often think this as it plays into my decision to see a lady, because if she has mixed reviews, The first thing that comes to my mind is maybe the JOE was ugly, or she was not attracted to him, LOL...Just how my mind thinks, then I go from there to make my decision.....

I've run into mongers in various scenarios (unintentionally) and in general they range from average looking to surprisingly good looking - as in why the hell are you seeing a provider? I'm guessing its a case of "I'm not paying you for sex, I'm paying you to go away". Walking the streets of Amsterdam, too, probably a good indicator of the client base. I'm guessing the faces all run together after awhile.
From my discussions with providers, if you're squeaky clean, not too much cologne, and a gentleman (not squeezing the melons like, well they were melons. Pro-tip, her boobs are as sensitive as your balls - so grabbing a handful - and hard - hurts like crap.
Whenever there is a one off in reviews, I look at the mongers history. If he seems to have a long list of bad reviews amongst good reviews, tells me something is wrong.
I bet providers do turn clients away, you read about it on another board all the time. Guy calls up, gets to the place - then radio silence. I'm guessing its based on another issue that I'm not going to raise because it always starts a flame war.

Considering I went to a top 20 state university for a period of time. Yeah, you could hook-up with girls on first meeting after a bar or party....i'm not against that at all. Difference was most girls were motivated for success and consequently good about birth control....plus they wasn't gonna lose daddy's German car and general financial support etc. hahaha. I remember girls doubling up on birth control when they forgot and having stomach pains, ha.
Depending on the college it can mirror the hobby in terms of low worry fun. But these real world girls leave a lot to be desired....not saying that college girls are not part of the real world, but they were better all around than the average I face now in days. Lots of prudes or unmotivated skanks in the real world.
Lot of hobby girls remind me of care-free college girls for the most part....responsible with birth control, like to have a good time, hook-up very easily

One thing i think is common is the belief by hobbyists that a provider prefers a younger good looking or a physically fit man over an average one.I bet you personality/trust ( i will exclude hygiene and respect because that is a given) is more important to them
I can't speak for all women, but I do not think women are quite as visually oriented as men are. We may be wired to respond to different things. Like voice tone means a lot to me, for example. It is very possible to be physically attracted to a wide variety of men -- as long as they are fun and considerate. Masculinity is a turn-on in itself. Variety is what makes the hobby fun :
