pelunker25 previously raised a question about bad reviews.  My answer is write the review you think is fair and to hell with the consequences.

I have written two horrible reviews for two highly-rated, independent providers.  One is explained as part of Spelunker25’s post in:

After posting that, someone PMed me saying that he recognized the provider and agreed with my review.  That doesn’t count the several that previously said “Yeah, you are right.  Maybe we should have written different reviews.”  So my review WAS apparently justified.

Several years ago I wrote a moderately bad review of someone who immediately PMed me asking who I was and how dare I write such a bad review.  My complaint was that she was a HEAVY smoker who reeked of nicotine.  Her heavy smoking caused her to look 75 year old.  I mean OLD!  Then someone also PMed me saying, “Finally, someone wrote the truth.”  I was surprised at the response.

Someone correctly pointed out that a negative review can doom a woman’s short stay in the Washington area.  I recently talked to a young woman who said that her 7/6 review reduced her client stream.  Her next review was a 10/10.  Go figure!  She seems to be doing well now.

That someone is here for a short time does not excuse bad performance.  If her performance is lacking, try the agencies first.  But agencies are interested in their profit, not necessarily your happiness. We all know that agencies “pad” the provider’s assets:  B becomes C, C becomes D.  And the average age shrinks about five years when a women becomes an escort.

If she works for an agency, first try to address the wrong with the agency.  But if an agency retaliates for a bad review, I would never again use that agency.  I would make my complaint with the agency public.  If your complaint is with the agency maybe you should make if public.

The principal question is whether her present performance portends disappointing performance for future clients.  If so, do something, including publishing a bad review

I dont disagree with you, but I do dislike guys who have the attitude "nobody is perfect" and very critical in that 'technical' sense of the word.  You know who I'm talking about in the real world, and usually they are disliked.  Even Simon Cowell gives good reviews.  The previous poster in the other thread had NO girls better looking than an 8 and mostly 7s.  The highest performance graded was a single 9 and the rest 5,6, and 7s.

I have dated some of the same girls on his 'list', and can say many of the girls he listed as a 7 would be breaking necks on the street with guys turning their heads so fast they would snap.  If girls only are going to rate a 7 with him, then maybe he should be doing better research so he isn't so disappointed.

Whats even worse is when your read these reviews and guys start with, "peaked behind the door and she was stunning" or "She' knocked my socks off, GND service with LFK and DFK and I popped twice, and we did multiple positions"...then rate a 6.   A six would be paying $350 getting a CBJ, one pop in 15 minutes, and then shoved out the door.  That's BP service and a 6-7 would be justified IMHO.

People rate differently, and I get it.  But what is a "bad review for that guy?  A 2 and 3?  

Just like schools, yes grades are inflated, but who gets into the better grad schools and who gets screwed?

What I do is find posters that have the same taste as I do, and in general rate fairly.  There are a couple guys like that on the board that I follow, and check their reviews.  Then there is always backchannel, too.

I try to be fair.  I generally give good reviews, but that's because I often use the Korean agencies which are consistently outstanding.

But even if I find a highly=rate provider who performed miserably, I try to write the review she deserves.  My last poor review was excruciating to write (6/2)

You literally could not have said this any better. I get different people will feel differently about people when they meet them but some people are impossible to please. I love what I do but honestly if you have a bad time with me then simply be honest in your review and don't come back. I hate when a man writes a really nice review only to then turn around and rate the provider a low score. Really!? What is that and why? Truth is a lot of the men out there expecting the impossible or who are consistently negative just because like you said, "feel like nobody is perfect" probably walked into that session with that very same negative attitude. If that's how they approach every encounter then they get what they get. I think most providers have dealt with at least one guy like this. I personally just brush it off. You can't please everybody and yourself as well.

And have posted both really good and really bad reviews.  I've never been pressured by an agency to upgrade a bad review, though I have had two poor reviews returned to me by TER with a comment along the lines of, "Are you sure?  This is the girls income and it could really negatively affect how much she makes".  In both cases I resubmitted the review "as is" and it was approved.
