I have always been somewhat cautious about sharing 411 with handles with little or no review history. I would like to suggest that we all be a little more cautious about who we give 411 to these days, just as we should be careful about who we give referrals to/for etc.

I seem to get more suspicious PMs these days asking for info on ladies that have, shall we say, "gone away". If a lady wants to stick her neck out here, she is free to do so. Don't do it for her.

I would also caution about sharing too much about how you spot bogus ads, etc. I have been just as bad as many of you in joking about this or that ad that said "such and such."

I'm not saying to not do any of these things, but to think about who is asking and if you know them and who they might be. If it really is a newbie, maybe the best advice is to wait to "get your feet wet".

And newbies? I suggest either waiting or doing a lot of searching of old threads to get your answers.

It's one thing to be hunted and another to make yourself an easy target.
