I'm about to be independent, I have worked for an agency before, but I'm just tired of their  S#%t, so my website is almost ready.  I'm looking for some advice from the ladys and also gents.
Thank you so much!

Advantages: You set your own rules and hours and can offer little enticements (like a bit of extra time for guys who you like).  Also, you keep all the money after expenses and indies may charge more than what the agencies got for them.

Disadvantages: You must provide everything (the incall, the furniture, the utilities, and most importanly the administrative support).  Many indies forget that last one both before and after they go indy.  From what I have seen with indies, trying to do BOTH providing and administration (phone calls, emails, screening, etc.) just does NOT work.  You might think it does.  However, you lose a lot of business providing while that phone rings.  You also lose it from disgruntled hobbyists who are disgusted with the fact that they cannot reach anyone to schedule or get their voice mails or emails replied to (which happens all too often).
