although some of the providers approach the idea of rates negotiations as if it was some sort of mortal sin, others seem to be willing to negotiate their rates and frankly I think they are the smart ones.

recently I had a discussion with one well known provider whom I had seen in the past and told her that I was short in my budgets but loved to get laid, she agreed to a discounted rate of about 40% discount, when I asked her how come you agreed, she said why say no to business...

I talked to this other providers about it and she said OHHH NO we don't negotiate because we don't talk about money due to LE stuff.. I was like BULLSHIT .. the rate is on YOUR site clearly marked for your time...etc. its lame to say you don't negotiate due to LE risk..

so ladies why do you or don't you allow it?

About the provider who said no to you, do you think she picked up on your shmuckiness?

If you don't have the privilege to hobby and pay what is expected by a particular lady, then don't. No one says we have to place ourselves in a comfortable position for you, sir, it is quite the opposite. Provider rates may vary, but this is only due to what other behind the scenes expenses occur for the luxuries that we provide for you and to offer a BBJNQNS with a smile.

If this particular lady lets you slide when you want to be cheap well stick with her. I can assure you most ladies wouldn't want to hear your BS coming through the door. Bottom line is your going to pay for what you want. You can make up all the excuses you want but if hobbying is really out your league of expenditures, I here they have local $40 specials on BP that could serve you quite nicely.

There are no negotiations with me. However, I often offer discounts but there are to show my appreciation for gentlemen that help me out everyday. They know what they want, they often have the income to accommodate my usual rates, and I appreciate them just as much as they appreciate me, so lowering a little doesn't hurt me and we can still have a good time and they are never as horrible as you. That being said, if you come across my ads, know that my offer isn't extended to you. Please change your alias to Hobbying Hobo, it would suit you better.

Yeah, I guess if your on a budget, that's your only option. Hell, if I could save 40%, then why not. However, I don't call a provider up asking for it. I had other providers call me in the past, asking me to see them. Simply, I just don't want to see them at the current time when they solicited themselves. However, if I tell them, well, I only want to spend this much, then its their decision to see me. I only do this for providers I have met, and never with a provider that I haven't met in the past.

The second example you gave, providers have a right not to discuss their rates. Some will even terminate the call if you do ask for rates. I thought you knew this.

most restaurants (Fancy or not) do offer discounts to keep their customers happy, at times you don't even have to ask..

sometimes it is in the format of a free bottle or glass of wine, or a free desert or something sometimes it is more..

also I never said cheapness is attractive, plus why would I need to be attractive, I am paying for the hour!

There is a significant difference of being offered a discount and negotiating a deal.

You can go on working those deals but in the end very few are going to entertain your negotiation tactic.

You do bring up a good point though, and how you stated it makes sense. Instead of the 300 roses, you say $250 roses, but, not talk about services. I have done that in the past, but, it's for BP providers. For example, if I saw a BP girl that said, $240 or $250 an hour, I'll ask if $200 is okay, I mean, I am not trying to spend that much on non review girls off of BP. However, I have never asked for a discount from well reviewed provider that I have met for the first time. That just leaves a bad first impression. However, for the reviewed girls I have seen in the past several times, they solicit me to see them. But, since I didn't solicit them, and sometimes if I am not in the mood, I ask them, instead of $300, is $250 okay. And, they make the decision from there. I mean, if I can save $50, I don't mind going out on my way to see them, they solicited me, and not the other way around. So, I can justify myself.

BTW, I don't hate anyone on this board. Sometimes, when we use alias, we get carried away because there is no consequences to jeopardize our reputation. if we agree, then those who offer great service at reasonable rates are in higher demand than those who offer services at more expensive rates right?

now lets think of this logically.. there are ladies who

a. have an apartment as an incall - so their cost of service is fixed, so if they offer service at more reasonable rates at times, they won't lose much ..

or

b. those who rent hotels for their services business in which case their cost of goods (COG) so to say is a variable and also their Time To Profit (TTP) is fixed (meaning they only got so many hours there at that hotel). Now even in that case they are ahead offering discounted rates if they are not busy..

so we have to agree that it is logical, now if you are a white-knight, then you should get an extra BBBJ or something for this post, and if you are a provider, then I am sure you don't like anyone talking about the 'logic' behind discounted rates

So you negotiate with everyone in the "customer service" business? Fine, that's your choice. But how many times have you been turned away and how many times have you succeeded to get a lower rate and what's the average over time?

I'm guessing of course, but you probably don't get out there more than once a month at best since you are on a low fixed income budget. And I'm guessing all of them have been from BP and not well known or above 300/hr.

So with that group you might get your way more often than not. But I'm guessing you are turned away more than 75% of the time.

And when you try to negotiate deals with those at 300 and above, I'd say your turned away 99.5% of the time.

But regardless, you're here now only to entertain yourself with those who will humor you with a reply like me.

And since you mentioned it's very likely you are on 1 or more DNS list's, I'm guessing you like the SW's where all of them are about making a deal.

Nothing wrong with negotiating rates.  If a provider chooses not to accept lower than her regular rates, that is fine, but there is nothing wrong about asking.

I will say that this thread is a fine example of why providers' participation has virtually destroyed this board.  The original intent of this board was to provider hobbyists a forum in which they could have frank discussions about the hobby.  It has turned into an advertising forum and a bunch of sucking up white knights afraid to say what they truly think.
