....on one hand!  I am a rare breed: fiscally conservative, socially moderate, but a registered Republican in DC  Many gentlemen choose to visit with me, because I state on my site, that I am a Republican.

  A few years back, a lovely young lady who toured here frequently, contacted me because a gentleman listed me as his reference.  She asked me what he looked like (she could have Googled him), and I told her that he looked like Dick Cheney.  He never visited with me again.  Seriously.

  Such is life in the beltway..........

Its cool that you find providers that are willing to share their views about political stuff, but, it can get really heated. I find those topics kinda ruin the moment, but that's just me. You seem to be happy with it, so keep doing what your doing. As for me, political agendas overload my calculator. Anyhow, have fun!

Nothing rare about you....Most people don't agree with Washington's reckless spending (thanks to unnecessary tax cuts and wars) , and feel that government needs to ease on social issues. So you are right where a NORMAL person needs to be.

People are ridiculously polarized these days.  Conservatives think that liberals are unamerican and liberals think that conservatives are hardhearted etc.


I have lots of friends with political beliefs that are different than my own.  we discuss politics at times.  We also talk about all kinds of other things without fighting.   I really don't understand the idea of preferring to asssociate with people that agree with you.t to each their own I guess.
