How many reviews does it take for you to see a girl you are interested in? Does it only take one? Or do you wait for them to receive a certain amount before taking the plunge?

If they're independent at least one reputable reviewer. If the reviewer only has one review it's not worth it. If the girl is from an agency no review is necessary if the pictures aren't overly photoshopped and censored.

I'm more of a "take one for the team" type of guy. Plus, I like to be one of the firsts to visit a girl before she becomes jaded by the industry lol

as references I need. Just kidding. Long ago I saw ladies with none, because there were no reviews, no boards. I read some of the ad sites and check, if interesting, for reviews, no reviews, not a chance. I read the ad sites mostly for the humor. For the ladies that post regularly here, none required. I click there reviews for websites to check their requirements for me and see if they are of interest to me. Then I may add them to my bucket list.

If they are from experienced and reputable hobbyists.

I'd like to learn more, and see if I can improve myself.

If the first review is by a reliable member on TER I'm good to go. However if the initial review or even the first couple reviews are by dudes without board history I'm likely going to wait

I generally don't trust reviews but will see the lady if there is a good history with a credible reviewer.    I find most reviews to be overly generous.  Same rules apply to agencies.  I trust agencies when I have had a few positive experiences AND it's girls have good things to say about the agency.  If the girls don't have anything nice to say about the agency, I generally will stay away.  Broke that rule recently and paid for it with a bad experience.

I would say between 5 to 10 reviews by well - established reviewers is the sweet spot for me and I usually want these reviews spaced out over 5 to 12 months to see if the service provided is consistent.

and have been among the first 3-5 or so reviewers for a few others.

For someone with no reviews, the tables sort of get turned and it is the hobbyist that has to find a way to screen/verify a provider and reduce risk. Sometimes we forget that there are other review boards and a "TER Unreviewed" provider can actually have many excellent reviews elsewhere.

Many ladies have a friend in the business who can vouch for them. If I am meeting an unreviewed gal, I always do it outcall, and arrange to meet in a public place for drinks or dinner before moving to a hotel. This gives me very high confidence there is no LE risk.

Some might think there is a risk of poor performance... and I suppose there is. However, my experience has been that most gals who are trying to catch a break and get their business moving are extremely focused on making sure I have a good time and that they get a good initial review.

I'm sure there are differing opinions and other approaches, I certainly adapt my methods as I see fit as well.

I'm more focused in on the "content" of reviews vice the number that actually exist. There are plenty of gals out there with 25+ reviews, that for me personally, are filled with nothing special or spectacular. Why? Because their services are no where near commensurate with their donations. I ignore them everyday of the week & twice on Sundays.

Depends on the reviewer and score.  Anything at 8/8 or above I'm good.  Will take a 7/9 depending on service as the lowest.  If a long time reviewer that I know and we have similar taste and a positive review then one.

If all 'three' reviewers have just one post, then no.  Then i think fake reviewers and shill.  A combination of long time reviewer and short time reviewer, will work for me.

I don't need a ton of reviews and a long history.  Quality over quantity.

The last two would not count. Your first is by a member that has a great deal of reviews, that's good.  But the next ones come 6 months later and by first timers, not so good.

In this case I would wait until more reviews come in, but that's me.
