I had the same thing happen to me with a provider that I was suppose to meet in Silver Spring, MD. She never showed up. I finally got a hold her and found that she over booked. She was one of those providers that did not use a high quality site like this. Later on I opened up the power point presentation that she sent me and found out that the license was registered to the DC police department....
As some of you know I am not a fan of traveling to Va from MoCo. My last 3 trips left me waiting 1 hour in the parking lot of the comfort inn on little riv, 45 min in the parking lot of the adjacent days inn, and 1 hr and 15 min on a residential Falls Church st( felt like a pedophile with all the school kids running around). Kept thinking with the little head before finally chalking them up as loses. Is it rude to leave after 10 miutes if the provider can't get it together? In the case of the one at the Days Inn she asked that I give her 10 min when I arrived. I had to be at work in 2 hours. Finally left 75 min later. She called and told me I could come up now as I was coming off of the 14th st bridge. What should the grace period be?
how can you guys sit and wait that long in a parking lot for a girl that is being PAID to provide you a service?
I agree with the "give me 10 minutes"...I've done that before, sometimes our schedule falls behind a little. But, is 10 minutes and not a hour & half.
I read posts like this in different boards and it always makes me wonder why men (with busy schedules and all) wait and wait for someone who does not have a bit of respect for them.
I think if the girl does not call you about the delay or make you wait more than 30 minutes (after you call), you should leave. She doesn't deserve your business.
It happens alot with agencies but I havent had it happen with an independent. Working with an agency they get 50/50 so the girls with try to take as many appts as she can to make up.
With an independent unless they are traveling they will schedule their time accordingly to allow themselves to have a gap of time before the appt and after because most of the girls I have seen arnt clock watchers anyways.
I wouldnt sit around and wait for any more than 10 min. If you allow this to happen and see the girl after over 45 min of waiting they will do it to the next one with no reguard to your time!
I seldom experience this problem, but not to say I haven't waited. I will not wait longer then 30 minutes anymore. What I find is having to wait ruins the moment. If we were late by the times you mention, there would be no session and doubtful any chance to make up for it in the future.
Some providers might give a little more when someone has waited, but none that I've experienced. Some may wish to Comp you when the wait is so long you are forced to leave and reschedule - but none that I've experienced.
but not the rule. Fortunately for me, this type of thing has been limited to just a few and the last time I decided to no longer wait more then 30 minutes and not reschedule.
Now maybe I should hope for the time I schedule with you, something goes wrong and your offer is extended - I love the thought of extra time more then a $$ discount.
We all have our own limits based on our own sense of what's reasonable (i.e. what we would expect others to tolerate if we're the guilty party). Yours is obviously way beyond what my own patience would allow. But part of the issue here is letting the providers know what's not acceptable. None of your recent reviews comment about late providers, so you either haven't reviewed the three you mentioned or didn't include that important fact in reviews you did write. Those women were just plain rude. They ought to know that someone noticed and that it's going to be a factor that others consider before making that phone call.
