I was reviewing a recent DC posting for Jeni at The Sweet Club. This is a membership only site, so I forked over my $20 registration fee to try and set something up with one of their providers. Well, when I got the phone number (you don't get it until you register), it had a 626 area code (San Francisco). The manager told me that they do NOT service the Washington DC area - only California. In addition, my registration fee was non-refundable. Bottom line - This review should never have been posted under DC.
First, 626 is Los Angeles, not San Francisco. Second, one of the TER LA members would probably be glad to give you the $20 for the membership. Write a note on the LA board and maybe someone will swap it for you.
