Call her and leave 100's of messages and if you are lucky she might, I say might answer the phone and then if you know the secret password you get an appointment... I have tried on and off for 7 months...
Just as said b4 you've got to be in some select club to get in with this one.Saw her once over a year ago and we had a great time alot in common seemed to really hit it off on a bunch of levels.She even gives me her e-mail address and tells me it's the best way to book her etc..Well never a reply to any e-mail never a return call.And from what I understand through private conversations w/fellow hobbyists this is her regular MO.To say the least very misleading and frustrating.However if by some miracle you are lucky enough to be able to actually book an appointment don't miss it;it's a great ride!
Yeah, ONCE apparently. I'm not sure I'd want to go experience something that was incredibly great knowing upfront that I would likely never get to again.. At least I would like to have the choice.
To live somewhere that allows me to think like you. Of course hindsight is 20/20 but even if I knew I'd only get one visit I'd still see Robin again. To choose not to because I don't think I would be able to go back would be like not going to a playoff game of my favorite football team because I know I'll never get to go a again. Or not driving a James Bond car, or... well you get the point.
But my amusement comes from the statement itself. Because almost by definition there's a very good chance that when I meet a new girl it will be only once. Now I will indeed try to see them if I get back to that town (which thankfully DC is one town I always seem to visit) but let's say I go to Atlanta it is rare and there's a good chance that the awesome girl I met there won't be around when I return. As a matter of fact in my short time in the hobby two girls have retired or moved away that I liked seeing in DC. I wouldn't trade those moments away but I will certainly keep trying to find more great moments.
Your points are well taken, Bomp. I guess it was just my frustration showing through as to just how difficult it is to book Robin even the FIRST time. Perhaps ESPECIALLY the first time.
As one of the other hobbyists said...good luck! Although I was "lucky" enough to get two appointments with Robin, she was a no-show both times. She may be good but it appears that she's becoming very unreliable.
