probably 1/3 or less but I have no stats to back that up. They really need to make south md (i.e. Bethesda), dc and nova as one region.

Maryland is a big state, its hard to get around, so folks advertising in MD need to be more specific on location - I've been looking, and everyone seems to be at least an hour away.  Providers don't need to give away their exact location, but in areas like MD, you need to be specific enough to name a city, county, town within at least 5-10 miles.  Screen for your safety, but you won't get the calls unless I think I can get to your incall within 20 minutes or less.

Your website takes you to a warning page and nothing else, Untill you let us know the person you are you will not get much of a response

OK my bad I missed it. Now that I have seen it I will be polite and not say anything

I know there are quite a few other MD guys as well, although I suspect we are outnumbered by DC and VA.  I've been known to once in a while venture to DC or Tysons, but only rarely, as the travel time is a killer.

I find the same trouble with posting ads on here - I post and get responses from DC.  But Baltimore is so much closer to me.

How do we go about getting a Baltimore page created??

The logic for keeping Baltimore part of WDC is that it is all one region.  But there is a New Jersey board, when North Jersey is part of the NYC market and South Jersey is part of Philly.  There are separate boards for Boston and New England.  There are separate boards for LA and OC, even though each is relatively dead because of competition from another site out there.  There are separate absolutely dead boards for Seattle and Vancouver.

Those of us who prefer to hobby in Columbia, BWI, downtown Bmore, and points north deserve our own board.  Each would be lively.  If that requires participation on two boards for many of us, so be it.

Posts on the first page don't even stay around  long.

Next thing we know it's drifted to the 2nd page after just a day or two.

Far too active.

I envy any of my fellow hobbyists who reside near DC, or in the DC Baltimore corridor, and their seemingly endless access to top-notch providers.  The Eastern shore is a woefully underserved part of the area, yet home to one of the richest counties anywhere(Talbot County, Easton and St. Michaels)   It's an hour ro BWI on a good day, and further to DC or Baltimore.  An untapped market for the ambitious provider who wants to get away from the city, and home to hobbyists with unspent hobby dollars burning holes in their pockets!  Pleas come to the Eastern Shore!!!
