I have a few questions about the marijuana laws in DC.  

1) Do you have to be a resident in DC to get an Rx filled?
2) Do you have to have a Dr. in DC write that Rx?  
3) If 1 and 2 are friendly to VA or MD residents, then how do you find a 420 friendly Dr?

but, what i've read/heard:

1. medical scripts are highly regulated with a cap on how many people can have licenses;
2. you need to be a dc resident;
3. possession up to a certain amount and growing up to a certain amount is legal without a medical script;
4. can't legally purchase, but on the gray market there are delivery service

I think you do need to be a resident of DC and you do need to have a DC doctor write it.

My understanding is that there are few doctors in DC who will do this, and finding them can be difficult. I've heard that there are people/services out there that basically connect patients with these doctors - because finding one on your own is pretty difficult.
