It amazes me that both hobbyists and providers have contacted TER about this problem and yet nothing has happened to change this. Paying members who write legitimate reviews should be rewarded, yet their reviews are rejected; guys trying to capitalize on the free VIP system by writing nonsense get through AND don't have to pay. It seems like a very backwards business system.
Some of you I have had the pleasure of meeting this week and for that I am grateful. I have been working hard to establish myself as a credible independent this week. A few new friends informed me that they have been trying to write reviews of me, only to have TER unapproved them because I am newly independent.
So imagine how excited I was to wake up to day and find I have my first review posted, only to find out that it is total horse-sh*t (please excuse my language)
I mean really?
1. 15 minute appointment? (really?)
2. Put on a few pounds since the photos were taken? (it is Friday, these photos were taken Monday, just 4 days ago)
3. Rates are really negotiable if you say you are not interested?(Again, BS)
Why would TER disapprove the honest reviews only to let this type of stuff fly?
This is obviously a ploy from someone I used to work with in the past to sabotage me. Very Immature and irresponsible if you ask me.
I don't have VIP so I won't even bother reading the juicy details. I'm just peeved about this!
1) If the review is bogus, contact TER support and tell them. Tell them why it was bogus and supply whatever evidence you have. The reviewer will also have to provide some evidence that the two of you actually met.
2) Look at your profile and contact TER support to change anything that is not correct. For example, right now just about everything says "don't know".
3) Keep asking your clients for reviews. If two reviewers contradict what is in your "bogus" review, the review is more likely to be pulled. Hopefully, Tomcat is working on one for you now to help out.
I have no doubt others more knowledgeable than I will chime in and add to or amend what I've suggested.
Above all, don't sweat it too much... maintain your composure and grace and don't let it draw you into a lot of drama.
Yes, it sucks that you got punked (esp since it's your first review). However, anyone with half a brain can see that it is a fake review by reading it and looking at his history.
Although a pain in the ass, you should be able to get it removed. Ater some normal reviews roll in I'm sure nobody will care and you already have a pretty good mini review. I actually think it would have been worse if he gave you a 6/7 or something and had a credible review history as that would have been more believable

The so-called reviewer seems to make a hobby of trashing providers.
I'm lucky that I've never had to deal with fake reviews, but I've definitely heard from more than one client that TER has rejected their reviews of me for dumb reasons. The VIP system is whack and encourages fake reviews.. You review 3 providers a month and Boom. Free VIP. There's ladies all over the place having issues with bogus reviews being posted and real ones being rejected.
While the advice given here is good, lots of ladies go through those steps only to not have their reviews removed. I hope your case is different.

Yeah, the highest review he has given is a 6...If that was the best I'd encountered I would move on to another pastime.

TER rejected a long and detailed review of mine once because it wasn't "graphic" enough. And then when I made it graphic enough for them, they still wouldn't post it until I had sent my email correspondence with the provider to prove the meeting happened. The fact that I've been a paying member on this site for over 10 years with several other credible reviews doesn't mean shit to them. Meanwhile they approve garbage like your review, and they let others post the same exact fake drivel for free VIP status. One guy here in DC has around 100 reviews and they are all just cut and paste jobs - they say the exact same thing word for word and TER is completely oblivious to it. It's really a joke. I'm sure they'll remove it after you jump through several hoops and waste a bunch of your time. Meanwhile, they won't ban this idiot, he'll continue to post fake reviews without consequence. What a lovely system this is.

There seems to be a long history of possibly "fake" reviews for quite a few providers:
The reviewer’s statements about services offered/not offered are contradicted by other reviewers. Descriptions of provider location, atmosphere, interaction and appearance are inconsistent and contradicted by other reviewers. Appearance and performance scores are significantly different from other reviewers.
I wonder how many of these providers have reported possibly fake reviews from this reviewer over the years?
Take some time and look for yourself; see if you don't agree. I submitted feedback about it. If you agree, maybe you should too.

VIP membership is especially important to ladies who are newly independent [ as well as newbie hobbyist].
Had you a VIP you could have checked your clients board history before you consented to see him.
Had you done so you would have seen he has a history of flaky reviews. Almost every lady he has reviewed received their poorest score from this guy. And he is pretty harsh in the narrative section as well.

And I kinda question if any of his reviews are real.
But since he posted your first review he has established your profile. And it is definitely going to be harmful for future biz.
You really need to pursue this with TER. If you had VIP you PM the other ladies he has seen. Perhaps a few of them will join you in appealing to TER admin to have this review removed and the horrific Profile taken down. In other words if others claim he has posted fake reviews on them TER might be more sympathetic to your accusation.
Again......the VIP is a cost of doing biz. I strongly consider you geting one.
That only works if the hobbyist has his hobby email tied to his TER account...it's easy to just put in a fake email in your TER account profile, then you cannot search his reviews by email.

I saw Kelly last week and was going to submit a review. When I saw the review in question I knew it was fake from the get go. I have just posted my own review - hope it is approved soon.
