threat

The provider is Miss Vixen who was based out of Boston and I think has only been to the DC area once or twice. From the email it seems that something happened at one of her appointments and this is his way of getting back at the hobbyists. I'm not too worried about the info she has on me which isn't much, but just curious if I'm the only one in the area that received this threat.

Hey guys, I just got an email from a provider which seems to be written by her husband basically blackmailing her clients into giving him $500 to keep our names out of the public eye. As far as I can remember I didn't give him my work info or too much as I went through provider references and p411 but I was just curious if anyone else received one as well. Any info or advice would be appreciated

....as you would guess, we all would be more than a little curious as to who the provider is.  I don't think I have even seen anyone married, but really how the hell would we know?  I would marry half the providers I have seen just for the eye candy !

Please out this person. Sounds like blackmail. A psa on here could go a long way

Why would a husband sabotage the family bread winners business?

You never know what is going to happen so protect yourself the best you can.  I use an alias instead of the real name when dealing with providers.  I use a BS email account as well.  The only thing they have to know is the cell phone number and it's one that I don't use for anything else.  I'd never give my real name out.

For putting the info out there.

Even for those of us who don't know her, a cautionary tale for certain.

but I call bullshit, I dont think its her "husband". I think its the holidays and when someone needs money and is just ready to get out of the business, they will come up with ways to make money quick. Yes, even quicker than blowing a guy for an hour. I know Vixen from another board and she was always a good egg, but shit happens and people change.

That doesnt make sense to me at all, "some guy beat her up so now I'm going to every single client that ever saw her and making you all pay me $500". How is that getting "revenge" on the guy that beat her up?

Do not feed into it, ignore it, but make sure you save the email. DO NOT send her, (coughs) oops I mean him, any money.
