As I write it's noon now so hope you've heard something. If she's checking into a hotel it could be she's not in yet but i'd think you probably should've gotten a heads up before meeting time.
I have only had this happen with 2 traveling ladies but I am not sure if this is typical.
Last week a lady I have tried to set up with contacted me saying she would be in town this week. We set a time for today at noon. Tuesday she realized she had never checked my references so I sent her a reference and work info and cell number. Then no reply from her. It is now 10:15 and she is supposed to be in BWI. I have errands to run and need to leave the house and will be between there and my house, but cell coverage is not perfect in this area. I don't want to be thought a no show but I also don't even know if we have a play date or not.
I would think I should have heard something by now. Any comments?

I would call and leave a message though if you dont reach her, so no one can say you didnt give it your best shot.
It happens with seemingly every type of provider, from those very professional and highly experienced to those not so well organized. In their defense, they have a lot going on between travel, setting appointments, verifications, preperation, fielding e-mails and phone calls from legitimate callers like yourself. Then there are the assholes they have to put up with.
What has happened to you is most likely some of the above though it sure dosent help you any.
Hope you can connect as believe it or not despite everything she most likey really is interested in meeting you. Its why she came here.
Since she decided she needed to screen you at the last minute, you no longer have a confirmed appointment, so do as you please. Presumably you have no location info so it isn't your problem. This is my choice, BTW.
You could call her and give her your schedule requirements - contact me no later than, etc...
Or head to BWI and hope for the best.
I always find it wise to tell a lady upfront, what is the latest I need to hear from her to confirm an appointment for that day. I NEVER leave my location for an appointment unless I have had a confirmation THAT day.
If she is someone I really want to see, and if she is near where I need to be, I MAY try to make it work.
She called at 4pm saying she didn't have internet connection. But she did have my cell phone number for the two previous days. In any case, when I left the house at 11am, I decided that there was no appointment and made other arrangements.
The last time this happened, it was a week without hearing anything from the lady after giving her my screening info and then getting a call that morning saying see you today but by then I had made other, not hobby plans.
