Us guys tend to forget.
Then we wonder why you can't see us at 11:00.

If they constantly get requests for early check ins, they may get suspicious and the next thing you know they will be leading out the providers in handcuffs.

I am often explaning "hotel procedure".  With early morning visits the room is paid for the evening before.  This is only possible  when the location of the hotel is close.  Of course the "visit" must be before check out time which is usually 11am or occasionally noon.   Thank you for the public information announcement.  I hope my additional FYI helped too.

I too have wondered why some were available early and yet others not till the afternoon. Your explanation was very clear. It helps those of us who plan for events.

I do love morning appts. however, those darn hotels do have check in and out times, and don't always have a room available, when I want. Shame on them. Winks

I have driven and flown for both personal and business, to be told I have to wait and said no you can't check in.

I would rather be safe than sorry, and since there is no guarantees with receiving an early check in, I would rather be sure when booking an appt. with a gentleman that I can definitely make it, and be checked into the hotel. There is nothing more frustrating than both of us sitting outside a hotel not being able to get in and twiddling our thumbs as  they don't have a room available. I also like to not draw attention and be discrete.

It is also not a big deal if I am only driving a small distance to secure the room, if it is close to home etc. However, I do travel over an hour or more radius at times, and it is not always feasible for me to be able to secure a room the night before due to other obstacles.

Normally, you can have the hotel for 24 hours 12 noon til 12 noon even with check in time of 3 or 4 in the afternoon, and as stated to be 100% sure you can have the room, it has to be booked the night before.

However, with trying to accomodate requests, and make things as convienent as possible for you guys, it does make it hard to drive to that area the night before when I am often times over an hour or more away from that location the day before. Since I am moving and traveling all around the tristate area and not in one spot.

As Raegan and Noel stated often times it is hard for us that are driving all over MD, PA, and VA to drive all these places and be home at night with our families and our personal lives. We can't work all hours and we most of the time don't stay at the hotels.

We treat this like any other job and commute back and forth wherever that may lead us in a day and do a lot of driving.

Funny, often times you drive an hour to get a room and then drive an hour back home, to get up the next morning to drive an hour to the appt. and then an hour back home. I am driving over 4 hours just for the one appt. if I hadn't already planned to be in that same location the day before. So, for all of you guys that think we get paid so much for just one hour, sometimes we are investing an 8 hour day for just one appt.

I have gone out of my way to accomodate an early morning request, to only have the appt. cancel in the middle of the night or a half hour before their time.

I really try to only book one hotel per day too. It is just too much to be having several hotels on one day.

The pros and cons of having one location and being available in more than one. I know I also only normally book one night per location, not multiple nights. Now, if I only had one location, then it would not be convienent for everyone to drive with their time constraints and limits, and you guys would still want me to move around.

I don't mind the driving, and can see you as early as you want, just this is one of the times where outcall would be easier, as all I have to do is show up.

I was asked the other week if I could be in a certain locaton by 9. I said sure I can be there, but where would we meet? Just can't get a room that early in the morning, and since they didn't ask for the appt. til midnight the night before or 7AM that morning how was I to get a place for us to meet. Oh, and by the way, they did not have enough time to drive to the location where I had a hotel the night before that would be available the next morning.

So, yes, it isn't that we don't like mornings, it is just the rules of the establishments.

Best of luck to all!

I am always up for suggestions and thoughts that would work and make things easier.

I know that it the reason we do book through priceline and hotwire is to reduce the cost of very expensive hotels, and our overhead when staying low volume, so other than booking through the hotel which sometimes costs are as high as one appt. and driving hotel to hotel seeing if you can get into one.

I was thinking that is we were making it convienent for the guy, and close to his home or work, then maybe he could get the hotel and do it through paypal to hotwire, and then, we could just drive to meet there in the morning, and then neither of us have went out of our way and if you use a secret email account, there will not be a trail. Most people can put money every so often into a paypal account that they use for ebay etc. and the girl could take the cost of the room off the donation, for them helping out.

Any other thoughts?

Then both people can be happy, and we can accomodate the requests for morning appts. in locations not in our area where the gentleman's preference is.

Thanks in advance... Always open to suggestions.
