Or the surrounding areas - Mclean, Falls Church, Fairfax, etc. Or some areas closer to DC - Crystal City, Pentagon City, Alexandria, Arlington.

Tyson's area is definitely a well-known hotspot for providers especially those on tour.

close to metro, but bc everyone is using Tysons hotels... I prefer the surrounding areas, is getting too much and I prefer being more discreet.

Everything is way to expensive to roll the dice & have finger’s crossed hoping to make a profit.

Have you posted dates anywhere?

Are you looking for only a single pre-booking?? Just want to make sure I understand.

So, Tysons Corner......a well known and popular spot for providers to serve and set up at........doesn't that counteract or undercut the desire for discretion and avoidance of potential adverse scenarios?

Plus it seems to me, with it's proximity to Washington D.C.  this is obviously where the average Governmental wonks would gravitate to p4p, don't you think?  by Average wonk I mean staffers and worker bees in the whole governmental apparatus....... it's highly doubtful a high level major government or political figure would directly contact a typical TER provider....they'd obviously have a staffer or worker do it.

I'm glad I understand this now, instead of wondering   "WTF does Tyson's Corner have?"

WTF are you talking about?? What does any of that have to do with discretion??

I think you're crazy for thinking that.

Tysons IMHO is the nucleus of providers (no longer called Tysons corner).  As others have said anywhere in Fairfax works since we're willing to travel.  Discretion is better when you stay where a key card isn't needed to get on the elevator again my opinion.  But mostly, I think it all depends on the client for discretion.  If he shows up w flowers and a bottle for example.  I always show up casual and comfortable and believe me we have tons of people coming and going from all the companies, military, and government personnel here for work and meetings.  Last I checked, Tysons was the epicenter of business opportunity within 30 miles (nationwide).  Just don't dress the part and you'll be utr!  Welcome BTW queenb!!

I've found that only one hotel was charging for parking too. However, I was rudely surprised when visiting a regular in the Tyson's area recently and found that they started charging for parking.
