I live in RVA, and would like to get back into the hobby. The problem I have is that I haven't been active since Nov. 14', and have no current references. On top of that, I recently got laid off, and wouldn't be able to be verified through employment. I've got a DateCheck account, also.
I would appreciate any/all wise words from the ladies and gents of the board

perhaps contact your old regulars and establish with them first online to see if they are willing to refer you.  I do not always insist on the recent meeting if I feel I can trust the referral source.  

Past that just be open to offerring whatever the lovely lady of your choice is requests.  So many newbies say they will work with you and then when you request the most normal of screeners they are indignant and stubbornly refuse.  Do not waste your time trying to see providers who just say no...respect their policies and move o to one who is more friendly.

Once you get 1 or 2 well reviewed ladies on your profile you are set again!
