Just to prime this new board a little , I thought I'd pose a question that has baffled me for years. This is not meant as a criticism so no need for anyone to get defensive . I'm just seeking opinions.
For its size I think Richmond might be one of the most hobby poor city in America. There might be a couple decent local ladies there but geesh.... It's a pretty shallow pool. Is it LE Repressive culture ( however Salt Lake City seems to have more action) Undesirable city to live in Seriously.....I know the hobbyist there would like to see quality established locals and top tier touring ladies ( actually I think a few quality Providers & agencies do visit Richmond on occasion ) So what's the deal
I mean there is no question that there are plenty of hobbyist in Richmond area. And I know some pretty cool ladies tour there. But still....no reliable agencies. And during the years I lived in DC and had to do a little biz in Richmond on occasion zero Sexy Carolina level of local Providers. I think there might be a couple now , but really have no personal experience.
Sexy , you know I now reside in Raleigh, so I can't help but compare the two cities. Actually there is no comparison. Raleigh has a pretty vibrant hobby scene. Richmond , a slightly larger southern city simply doesn't.
I wouldn't want to live anywhere else, period. RTP and major universities bring the vibrancy you refer to. I do remember touring to Richmond, years ago, and I was lonely, and felt I would certainly never return. But times, they are a changing, and Richmond is growing and men have needs and I aim to please!

It's hard to really say, but to me it's probably due to the strong presence of LE and Richmond isn't a big enough city to pull a lot of providers despite a strong presence of LE.
Richmond is a little gem, full of absolutely wonderful men! Virginia Beach too.
I see ladies coming through Richmond (and Virginia Beach) a lot. In fact, I sometimes feel it gets a little crowded. I want my Richmond boys to myself. But who knows if I qualify at a "top-tier touring lady" or not??? Whatever "tier" I am, I've found a home away from home in Richmond (I've gotten to explore most parts of the city and don't find it undesirable at all, but maybe that's just me).
The real issue, STPhomer, might simply be that it's kind of out of the way whether by car or plane. That's my $.02 as someone who travels quite a bit. It also doesn't appear as impressive as other cities when just looking at it from the outside. But then, I've gone to cities that seemed great from a distance and left underwhelmed. IMO, Richmond underpromises, overdelivers.
Then again, I'm speaking as a woman and provider. My perspective is very different from yours.
It's not a place I visit often even though I'm a mere 2hrs or so away in D.C. (i've gotten there in 90mins though a few times). But I'm always happy to visit if requested for sure.
Never had any problems. I tend to be very low volume, screen carefully and stay in nicer hotels. Only thing that bugs me is downtown may charge extra for parking and/or internet. Kisses licks and nibbles, Kaylie
