False Expectationsconfused_smile

The holiday season is here and I know a lot of people of thinking of treating themselves to a nice holiday gift, me being one of those people.

I am curious to know if the expectation of the lovely lady you see to have a manicure and pedicure is a false expectation or is it appropriate.  I can only speak for myself when I say anytime I see someone I am have been recently groomed including hands and feet.  My personal preference is not to see chipped nails and chipped/cracked polish.  Is this too much to expect or am I ok with expecting this to be taken care of.

I only bring this up because I recently viewed someones pics and saw the same on their site...cracked and very chipped nails.  I guess I would think they would put their best foot forward..pun intended.  Again only speaking for me but I want the other person to enjoy this as much as I do and feel like it was an event for us both.

Thoughts?

...but chipped a nail as I opened the door lol.
A lot of of us definitely try to keep our appearance up daily.
You got a lot of great answers on the DC board.
Sometimes I wear a clear nail polish on my hands but not on my feet. I'm great about accepting requests for color though :).
Maybe be slightly forgiving though if one is slightly chipped lol but if several then I see why that'd be a problem and definitely not a good look.
Communicate your feelings with your potential date :).

at the lower end you take your chances ... $300 an up (depending on the market) you should expect it.  However there is no harm in asking.  If the lady is "offended", do you think you really would have enjoyed the date anyway?

If you use p411 on clients profile you can post these type of details. I always check that information and I'm sure other ladies do it as well.

It lasts two weeks AND it dries FAST! But to answer your question I don't think it's too much to ask.

makes me feel great when I'm all dolled up with my nails and hair done. Who doesn't love a high class girl who looks great in a nice pair or heels and perfectly painted nails?!

I agree with 2pretend.
The message she is sending with her advertising photos is a potential indication of her general attitude or approach. I wouldn't be caught dead with chips on my nails...especially not for photos! I have, admittedly, had a nail delema just a few hours before a get together while touring. I alerted my date and we delayed our plans so I could go fix my nail.

Thank you all for the feedback!!!  I didn't have a bad situation but was really curious because I was interested in someone and then saw that on their site and it turned me off.  Some say I am too picky.
