First time visiting here.. what are some fun things to do out here?  

Head over to Coronado Island to hang out during  the day, check out the Del Coronado Hotel. . La Jolla  is always fun, stroll on Gerard Ave. have lunch at the La Valencia patio.  Head up to Del Mar, I think  the track is open.

And be sure to visit the Del Coronado, one of the great old white elephant hotels.  The grand dining room is one of the wonders of the world.

SD is my hometown.  I recommend going to the Farmer's Market in Old Poway on Saturday.  I love Old Town Mexican Cafe they have fresh tortillas.  On the 19th is opening day at the Del Mar races & you do not want to miss that wear a cool hat. Coronado is the best beach to go to now because of the traffic the races will bring.  I usually  go to Solana Beach (fletcher cove) it is not crowded.  Enjoy!
