To tour. I am looking for a friendly city that has great transportation (train, bus, uber, etc), arts and culture, museums and a decent hobby scene. So far some places I've thought have been Seattle,Phoenix/Tuscon,Portland,Salt Lake City...California excluded. What are some your favorite cities to tour ladies and some hotel/airbnb suggestions you may have for that city??? Gentleman do you have a city that you have extra kinky fun in????
...but if you're leaving Vegas to beat the heat, I'd skip Phoenix/Scottsdale/Tucson during June/July -- you'd be going from frying pan to the fire! I lived there for 15 years and it doesn't cool off much from beginning of June until end of October.
If you want to tour and beat the heat, Portland would be a good option; plenty of p4p action on the local boards, good local food/beer/wine scene and plenty of cool cultural attractions. If you are a bookster, Powell's downtown is a MUST -- I block out 2-3 hours every time I visit Portland just for the books (usually followed by a great lunch somewhere nearby).
Seattle seems to be lively as well, although my time there has been limited to seeing someone I met in Portland. But also a lively p4p scene with good local board participation.
I know Phoenix is a heater lol....that one I can't get out bc I do a girls trip every year. Was thinking of adding some kink since I'll be a super vanilla that trip if not lol. I usually only last 2 days there and head back lol.
Anyways, Maddy, sounds like you've been here in summer before. Have you ever returned in February? We often have the best weather in the country then, (yeah you heard me PS) along with lots and lots of things going on that bring thousands of visitors looking to lighten their wallets.
Denver was a great suggestion! Interesting, fun town. Hippies, cowboys, bikers.... You'd almost think there's a song in that.
Yeah, but we know that 100 in Phoenix and 7% humidity isn't really HOT for residents who have gotten used to it. I used to ride my bike up & down the Greenbelt when it was 100 -- as long as I had a Camelback drink bladder filled with cool water, I was good.
Having been out of the area for 7 years now, I don't think I'd try that anytime soon. Hit 62, cloudy and spitting rain today in OR -- uncharacteristically cool and wet for this time of year. Ah well, thinking of vacation time later this year and heading back to AZ.
I have never dated in any of these cities but I have been to Portland and Denver for vacations. both cities are very clean and the people are friendly. The public transportation was easy with the light rail going to most places, which is the mode of transportation that I used the entire time I was in both cities. There is a light rail train that goes to and from the airport in Portland. The museums in both cities are also great. I know you said to exclude California but weather wise you can't beat San Diego. The shopping in Denver and Portland is also great. I know that is something that the ladies are concerned with.lol
Seattle is beautiful. There's lots to do and see in and around the City. They have some great museums. Make sure you visite the Space Needle, gorgeous views from there. As far as clients, can't help you out in that area, but I'm sure there's plenty.
