Goodbye to the greatest airline ever invented in the history of Aviation:  Airberlin.  It is going to stop operating flights prior to October 15 and now even all flights have no award space even.  Insolvent - unfortunately.

The pasta was always the greatest, much better than the chicken and rice option.  The free socks given out along with toothbrush were really great.  Coke light served as much as you could drink!!  Direct flights to the good parts of Germany without needing to transfer via London!  Some flights you could even find an entire row of middle seats and most had two side seats open at least.  Truly the end of an era.  Probably it went out of business due to the cbj law.
