I wanted to reach out to both fellow providers and to clients on recommendations for what area within greater Chicago to stay while I'm visiting Chicago from 3-10 August.
I'm currently staying in Downers Grove in the western suburbs of Chicago, however I would welcome any recommendations on which areas of Chicago are more convenient for clients. I'm not sure if downtown is a better location?
If anyone has a recommendation, I would very much appreciate it!
Welcome to Chicago! The most popular areas are usually Downtown, NW Burbs (e.g. Schaumburg), Ohare, and Western Burbs (e.g. Oakbrook).
Some things to keep in mind, the suburban hobbyists usually don't like driving downtown due to limited/expensive parking and hobbyist who live/work downtown usually don't drive, so they don't travel to the burbs. Hotels near Ohare usually have guest/visitors parking and access to public transportation/from the city
