NYC Holiday Magic

I'm visiting NYC from December 12-16. I'm hoping it won't be too cold and that I'll be able to enjoy New York around the holidays during my time there.  

I've heard from a client that the city is magical around this time of the year. What are your favorite areas to enjoy the city around Christmastime?

New York IS magical during the holidays.

And there's nothing wrong with doing tourist things like going to see the tree at Rockefeller Center and Macy's windows. Also a walk up Fifth Avenue past all the store windows to the skating rink in Central Park.
