Hello!!

I've never had the pleasure of visiting Myrtle Beach, I'm planning a trip there for the first time.  I was wondering where to stay, eat, what to see, and what the live music scene looks like.

When is the best time to visit in September?

 Any info is greatly appreciated!!

Namaste!!

Becca

Been there a couple times.  Reminds me of Orlando on a mini-scale.  Stayed at Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center Hotel.  Nice well kept large hotel located off the beaten path, but within a short drive and/or walk from the attractions.  The boardwalk is another area where you may want to consider staying.  Lots of restaurants and shops right on the beach.  The "Broadway at the Beach" is an area with restaurants (i.e., Margaritaville, Hard Rock Cafe, Joe's Crab Shack, Carlos 'n Charlie's, etc.), ice cream parlors, gift shops, stores (i.e., Victoria's Secret, etc.) IMAX movie theater and attractions (i.e., Ripley's Aquarium, etc.) located around the perimeter of an man made lake.  If I recall correctly, they had a zipline where people can zip across the lake.  Google "Broadway at the Beach" for more detail.

What a great looking place when I look at it on the map I would love to go there to keep me in the loop I'd like to go in October?  Hopefully no hurricanes I love to play golf so that work out great for me one day work one day golf one day work one day go off on and off for 10 days. Yep I have the dream job.
