I've visited Atlanta once before, it's so big and spread out how do you determine the best place to stay when touring?

Hi Marie.  You are right Atlanta is huge but there are some great places to stay while touring.  The Perimeter/Dunwoody  and Buckhead areas are probably the best.  Centrally located and nice shops, restaurants to partake in when not working.  I would just stay away from the airport and Gwinnett County.  If u need specifics on hotels etc feel free to PM me.  Hope to see you when you get here 😆

Perimeter and Buckhead are always recommend it.  it seems like Buckhead is kind of far away from everything. Perimeter seems to be an ideal location to me and that's where I stayed before will be staying next time.  Does anybody have a different opinion about Buckhead?

Buckhead is central to a lot of business men, adjacent to the high rises in Midtown and near major malls and high end restaurants. I stayed next to the Perimeter Mall last time I was there. The traffic was unbearable. 30 minutes to go a mile. I used to have an incall in Midtown. It was great for daytime incall.
