I stayed at a hotel near the Indiana Convention Center. There are a few museums within walking distance as well as great dining options. I went to listen to Blues at the the Slippery Noodle Inn. I was a little bummed that I visited just close enough to the the weekend of the Indy 500 to soak in some of the anticipation and celebration. Alas, I had to stay on schedule and depart days beforehand. I didn't get to check out all the attractions and restaurants that I wanted to, so I hope I have the opportunity to visit again.
